Booking an event DJ in Lisbon, Lisbon District, Portugal usually starts with a short brief: date, venue, guest numbers and the kind of night you want. Quotes tend to come back within a day or two, and most DJs will offer a call to run through the plan before you confirm. The strongest candidates ask as many questions as they answer, from timings to what the room is like.
Most setups need a table or booth space near a power supply and 60 to 90 minutes to load in and sound-check before guests arrive. Tell the DJ about stairs, long carry routes or upstairs function rooms when you enquire, since they move heavy speakers and stands. Some venues fit sound limiters that cut power when volume crosses a set threshold; a DJ who knows this in advance can configure their rig to stay under it. Outdoor receptions and marquee events need dry, covered ground and a reliable power source, so agree those details with the venue early.
A strong event DJ builds the night around your brief rather than a fixed routine. Share a shortlist of must-play tracks, anything to avoid, and the shape of the evening, from arrival music through dinner to the main dance set. Decide in advance whether guests can request songs on the night, and mention any themed or multilingual sets you need so the DJ can prepare the right library. Most are happy to source specific tracks ahead of the event if given notice.
Most DJs in Lisbon quote per event rather than per hour, with evening bookings running from €95 to €1,250+ and typical spends around €360. Hourly figures usually only appear for short add-on slots or extra time at the end of the night. When comparing quotes, check what is included: sound equipment, lighting, setup time and travel are normally built in, while uplighting, an extended set or a separate system for a second room adds to the fee. December dates and peak-season weekends are the first to go, so confirm your date as soon as the venue is settled.
The average price for Event DJs available in Lisbon, Lisbon District, Portugal is €360 (EUR). Above you will also find a budget price and high end price. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.
Dj Lisbon
"We honestly couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding.
From the very first conversation, Miguel completely understood our vision and somehow managed to elevate it beyond anything we could have imagined. He took us and our guests on a journey throughout the entire day from the relaxed atmosphere of cocktail hour to an unforgettable dance floor that was packed until the very end of the night.
The energy, the transitions and the music were impeccable. We lost count of the number of guests who came up to us saying, "This is the best playlist ever!" and asking where we'd found our DJ.
It was genuinely the best party we've ever been to, and that's all down to Miguel's incredible talent for reading the room and creating an unforgettable experience. He went above and beyond in every way, and we couldn't be more grateful.
If you're looking for someone who will create an incredible atmosphere and leave your guests talking about the music long after your wedding, Miguel is your person. Thank you for making one of the best days of our lives even more unforgettable."
DJ Juanito (Lisbon & Portugal)
"Juanito is a truly passionate and professional DJ, with an incredible ability to read the energy of the room and create the perfect atmosphere.
He did an amazing job: Attentive, professional, and genuinely committed to making the event special, while took us on a beautiful journey through different rhythms and emotions.
His passion, professionalism, and sensitivity to the atmosphere really made a difference and helped make our event truly unforgettable.
I highly recommend Juanito to anyone looking for a DJ who does more than just play music — he creates an experience!"
Michael Jackson Tribute Show
"He did a show at our Family Birthday. He was amazing. Only if he looked alittle more like Micheal I might of been fooled that he is back again. Great entertainer and great price."
The Vibrators Band
"We are so happy we hired this band for our wedding! Communication with Ricardo was very quick and smooth from the very start. The band is very professional and has a great choice of music selection that kept everyone dancing. They even set up in a couple of different locations to fit the flow of our special day. Everyone loved their amazing energy and they really kept the party going all night. We would truly recommend them for great vibes and an unforgettable time!"
DJ Jandor
"Alejandro is brilliant, he had us dancing the whole party, five hours straight! Good music, adapting to everyone's tastes and requests. Thank you so much, you were a big part of why the party worked. Thank you!!!
