How much does it cost to hire Guitarists in Naples?

from$1,150USD

Guitar players mostly quote per set rather than per hour, with rates in Naples starting from about $140 for a single instrumental set, typical bookings around $380 and singer-guitarists bringing their own PA reaching $1,150+. Longer performances, weekend and peak-season dates, and sets that include vocals all push quotes up. When comparing quotes, check what each includes: amplification, travel and time to learn requested songs are sometimes itemised separately. Booking ceremony and reception music with the same performer often costs less than hiring two separate acts. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

Based in Cape Coral, Florida (31 miles from Naples) Brandi R. - Wedding Photo of Gitano Urbano Flamenco Gitano Urbano Flamenco "Marcos and team were great. Performance and songs and dances were awesome." Based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (103 miles from Naples) Miriam Marrero Photo of Master Musicians Incorporated Master Musicians Incorporated "I would strongly discourage anyone from using Master Musicians for a wedding. One of the most important moments of our wedding day, the processional, was mishandled despite clear communication and advance planning. Prior to the wedding, I spent over 30 minutes speaking with Julie Block reviewing our ceremony details. During that conversation, we specifically discussed our processional music, including "Can't Help Falling in Love." When I asked whether she already had the sheet music, she told me she did. At no point did she indicate there was any uncertainty about the song selection or that additional information was needed. In addition, all of our songs and ceremony instructions were provided to the company on July 17, 2026, including specific notes regarding instrumental versions. Despite those instructions, our wedding officiant unexpectedly walked in to Taylor Swift vocals being played over the sound system. This was not supposed to happen. The music was intended to be instrumental only. Not only was it inappropriate for that moment, but it caught our officiant completely by surprise and disrupted the beginning of our ceremony. What makes this even more frustrating is the explanation we received afterward. Julie claimed that because we only provided the song and artist name for "Can't Help Falling in Love," she downloaded a version from YouTube and that we should have provided an exact link. Yet this was never mentioned during our lengthy planning call, nor when she confirmed she already had the music. Had this been communicated beforehand, it could have been resolved easily. How can a professional music company utilize YouTube for a full track, when that is meant for video versions of songs? Julie also acknowledged in writing that the violinist played the vocal version of Taylor Swift's "Love Story" instead of the instrumental version and stated that he "second guessed the instructions and chose poorly." In other words, the company admits that its musician ignored the instructions provided. Rather than taking full responsibility for a mistake that affected one of the most meaningful moments of our wedding ceremony, the response focused on shifting blame back to us for not providing an exact track link, despite prior assurances that the music was already available and despite the fact that the wrong Taylor Swift version was admittedly played. They not only declined to offer a refund for these mistakes, but then said they would "waive the charge" for our wedding starting late—even though the delay was due to rain. The violinist never introduced himself or asked whether we wanted him to stay. In fact, had he left, our processional likely would not have been disrupted, because I had already provided the DJ with Spotify track links to our wedding music as a backup in case of an emergency. Weddings require attention to detail, clear communication, and careful execution of agreed-upon instructions. Unfortunately, our experience with Master Musicians fell short in all three areas. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend them to couples who are relying on their vendors to handle important ceremonial moments correctly." Based in Boynton Beach, Florida (110 miles from Naples) 3rd November 2026 Ashley Lazarus - Private Wedding Photo of Gary Willner Gary Willner "Gary Willner: A Modern-Day Master of Ventriloquism In conclusion, Gary Willner's performance as a veteran ventriloquist is nothing short of remarkable. His comedy is hysterically funny, his characters are brilliantly portrayed, and his act pays homage to the tradition of ventriloquism while adding his own modern touch. With a stage presence that is captivating and a genuine connection with his puppets, Willner has rightfully earned his place as a modern-day master of ventriloquism. A night spent enjoying his act is guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience filled with laughter, joy, and admiration for this exceptional talent David Rogan The Guardian" Based in Lake Worth, Florida (112 miles from Naples) David Rogan - The Guardian Photo of Flamenco & Latin Fusion: Music & Dance Flamenco & Latin Fusion: Music & Dance "We had the BEST time thanks to this talented group of musicians! I mean, the food was great too, but by far they were the stars of the evening. I cannot say enough good things about them, from the dancer's beautiful outfit, their punctuality, their enthusiasm, their professionalism. I sent them a song "wishlist" ahead of time, and nearly all of the songs were either sung or the original versions played during their break. The singer was sensational, he also played the cajón (percussion), then there was the beautiful flamenco dancer who also did the "palmas" (hand clapping) and ended up dancing the Sevilllnas with a group of us (we had forgotten some of the steps, so she helped us, like a teacher!), and then of course the guitarist who was absolutely brilliant, too. Our event would not have been as special without them. Although some of the songs they sang/played came from the wishlist, others came from the musicians themselves who, understanding their audience, came up with songs that surprised and delighted us. I am actually trying to come up with a made-up celebration to have them come back to Lutz. Paying off a credit card maybe? Anyway, this was an unforgetable party. Thank you, Samuel, for putting it all together so brilliantly!" Based in Tampa, Florida (131 miles from Naples) 15th October 2026 Nathalia Assaad - Lutz wedding Photo of Jim Gabelbauer | Event Guitarist Jim Gabelbauer | Event Guitarist "Jim was a pleasure to work with and exceeded expectations. Communication was easy, everything was handled professionally, and the music created the perfect atmosphere for our event. Guests loved the vibe, and we would absolutely work with him again." Based in Orlando, Florida (168 miles from Naples) 18th March 2026 Emily Carter

Frequently asked questions

The average price for guitarists on Gig Heaven is $380, with rates ranging from $140 to $1,150+. Cost depends on performance duration, the guitarist's experience and whether the booking is for background music or a full live set. Guitarists on the platform cover a wide range of styles including classical, jazz, blues, rock, flamenco and pop.

The guitarists for hire cover a huge range of styles including classical, jazz, blues, flamenco, rock, pop, folk, fingerstyle and acoustic covers. Many guitarists are versatile performers who can switch between styles during an event to suit different moments.

Popular occasions for hiring guitarists include wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions, corporate dinners, private parties, restaurant entertainment and ambient background music. A solo guitarist provides versatile, elegant live music that suits both intimate and larger settings.

Most guitarists are happy to learn specific songs for key moments such as a ceremony entrance or first dance. Many have extensive repertoires covering popular songs, classical pieces and jazz standards. It is advisable to discuss song requests with the guitarist well in advance.

Many guitarists on Gig Heaven play both electric and acoustic guitar and can choose the instrument that best suits the event. Acoustic guitar provides a warm, intimate sound for ceremonies and dining, while electric guitar is better for rock, blues and higher-energy performances.

For small, quiet settings, many guitarists can perform acoustically. For larger venues, outdoor events or noisier environments, a small amplifier or PA system is usually needed. Most guitarists bring their own amplification. For the best experience, discuss the venue size with the performer.

One player can usually cover the whole day, moving from processional and signing music during the ceremony to background playing over drinks and dinner. Timings are agreed in advance, since the ceremony music has fixed cues while the reception is more flexible. Where the ceremony and the reception are in different spaces, allow time to move and set up between them.

Most bookings run to two or three hours of playing time, split into sets with breaks, though the total time on site is longer once setup and soundcheck are added. Shorter ceremony-only bookings of around 40 minutes are common and are priced differently. Ask for playing time rather than hours on site, as the two are not the same.

Outdoor playing is common for ceremonies and garden receptions, and most players are happy to do it given shade and a level surface. Direct sun and damp both affect a wooden instrument, so a covered area is worth arranging even in settled weather. Wind carries sound away quickly, so amplification is usually needed outdoors even for a small number of guests.
