Rates for harp players in Verona typically run between about €200 and €1,200+ for event performances, and the average booking comes to €450. Distance is the biggest single variable after performance length, since the instrument travels in a dedicated vehicle and a long drive at both ends is charged for. Weekend dates through peak wedding season book up first and hold firmer rates, while midweek and off-season dates leave more room to negotiate. A harpist based nearby will almost always quote lower than one travelling across the region for the same set. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

She made the atmosphere of our wedding magical, emotional, and elegant — every note from the harp seemed to tell a part of our story. All our guests were enchanted and still compliment us on the music to this day. Professional, kind, and with a unique sensitivity — a true artist at heart. If you’re looking for something truly unforgettable, choose her without hesitation! 💫" Based in Milan, Lombardy (87 miles from Verona) 31st October 2025 Francesca D. - Wedding Photo of Michelarpa Michelarpa "Michela was great. Amazing musician. Great communication and planning. I would hire her again 👍" Based in Milan, Lombardy (87 miles from Verona) Ed Photo of Organista e voce Lugano Organista e voce Lugano "We entrusted Organista e Voce Lugano with the music for our wedding ceremony, and they made it truly unforgettable. From the beginning, they were incredibly helpful and responsive, guiding us through the selection of pieces and offering valuable advice. They understood exactly what we wanted and translated it into a perfect musical program. On the day of the wedding, their performance was simply breathtaking. The organ filled the space with a powerful and elegant sound, while the voice added a layer of emotion that touched everyone present. Each moment of the ceremony was enhanced by their music, from the entrance to the final exit. Everything was perfectly timed and executed with great care. Our guests were deeply impressed, and many complimented us on the music. It made a huge difference and contributed significantly to the atmosphere of the day. If you are looking for a professional, talented, and reliable musical service, Organista e Voce Lugano is an excellent choice." Firenze classica was really fantastic, we had a string quartet and, if you ask them in advance, they also play any modern song you request. Of course, if you give them time to rehearse. They both did an incredible job without emptying our bank account.” Source: Reddit – user ja_maz Date: 13 May 2025 Location: Countryside outside Florence, Tuscany, Italy" Translated from Italian Based in Florence, Tuscany (115 miles from Verona) 19th October 2026 Ja_maz 13.05.2025 - Wedding in Tuscany Photo of Antonella Natangelo Harp&Voice Antonella Natangelo Harp&Voice "Having Antonella play her harp on our wedding day was truly magical. Antonella was wonderful and made sure we had the most special day. She is a beautiful artist and wonderful person who went the extra mile for us every step of the way. She made sure our special song requests were included and having her perform for us made all of our dreams come true." Frequently asked questions

Pricing for harpists ranges from €200 to €1,200+, with an average of €450. The cost depends on the harpist's experience, performance length and any specific repertoire requests. A harp provides an elegant, distinctive sound that works particularly well for wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions and formal dinners.

Popular occasions for hiring harpists include wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions, corporate dinners, afternoon teas and formal occasions. The harp's elegant, resonant sound creates a refined and romantic atmosphere.

Many harpists have a varied repertoire that includes popular songs, film scores and contemporary hits arranged for harp alongside classical and traditional pieces. It is worth checking each harpist's profile or discussing repertoire when making an enquiry.

Most harpists need a flat, stable surface and enough space for the harp (approximately 2 by 2 metres). The instrument is heavy and may require step-free access for loading. For outdoor events, shelter from wind and direct sunlight is important. For the best experience, confirm access and setup details with the harpist.

A harp carries well in a quiet room but is easily lost outdoors or against a crowd, so amplification is usual for anything beyond a small gathering. Most players bring a small pickup or microphone and will say what they need once they know the setting and the numbers. Wind is the bigger problem outdoors, as it moves the strings directly rather than simply reducing the volume.

The two in general use are the pedal harp, which is full size and can play in any key, and the smaller lever harp, which suits tighter spaces and gentler settings. Repertoire is the practical difference: some pieces with heavy key changes need the pedal instrument. Players list which they bring, and several own both.

Most ask for 30 to 45 minutes before the first note, as the instrument has to be carried in, positioned and then tuned. A harp brought from a cold vehicle into a warm room drifts noticeably and cannot be tuned accurately until it has settled. Building that into the schedule matters more here than for most instruments.
