Rates for a DJ-led set in Dijon open at around €160 and average €400, rising to €1,150+ once sax, percussion and a vocalist join. A Saturday will cost noticeably more than the same booking midweek. Most acts take a deposit to hold the date with the balance due before or on the day, so check when each one expects payment and what the cancellation terms are. It is also worth agreeing an overtime rate up front: nights built on this style tend to run late, and a figure settled at 1am is rarely the one you would have negotiated beforehand. Alex Frost DJ
"I think Alex is a great DJ, he's always really flexible, he's versatile, he always reacts to the crowd. He's not a DJ that will just come up unprepared, he always works on a lot of his stuff beforehand. Really highly recommend him."
Dominik Engel – Live Saxophone Shows
"The performance at the reception was not only very enjoyable for me, but for all the guests."

"Those of you Clerkenwell types who frequent the Slaughtered Lamb or
19:20 can not have failed to notice an new industry resident on Great Sutton
Street.
Desso's impressive carpet portfolio can now be viewed at the company's smart new showroom - and, naturally, the design community was invited along for a sneak preview, and much more.
Guests were treated to top live music and not just the superior Desso flooring products to whet their whistles.
We must congratulate all involved, as the evening attracted an impressive array of those specifying types, as well as the usual thursday night Clerken-crowd.
To use the Editor's favourite saying, it was smoother than n otter's pocket."
jamiesaxophone - weddings, events & more
"Where to start! My daughter’s wedding vision included a saxophonist. Unfortunately as the bookings were made for everything, this was seen as a luxury and got pushed further down the list and then wasn’t going to happen.
Fast forward to two weeks before the wedding and I saw a wedding post on facebook and Jamie’s name was mentioned numerous times.
The stars aligned and I was exceptionally lucky Jamie was available . The absolute best decision I made! Jamie answered quickly to every message ( I sent many!), was so lovely and was absolutely awesome on the day. The playlist was perfect and Jamie brought such a great vibe. Everyone is still talking about him! Even in videos that we’ve posted people are commenting ‘who is he?’ ‘This is incredible’
My advice put Jamie at the top of your wedding list, or any party list, you won’t regret it! The only thing I do regret is not booking him for longer as it went so fast.
Jamie you are incredibly talented and we are so grateful that we got to meet you and dance along with you!
You’re calm, very cool, charming and exceptional!!!! You were an absolute highlight of the day, I have watched the videos of you and everyone so many times as it’s just such a natural, happy time that you couldn’t plan.
I can’t wait for my next daughter’s wedding you are a definite!!!!"
