Photo of Mr.G-minor Mr.G-minor "Greg was a total professional. He kept in touch leading up to the event date and even gifted us a free song to really set the mood. He was flexible when we had to change the location last minute. I would highly recommend his services. Very good accordionist" Based in Ashford, England (13 miles from Canterbury) Costa Zacharia - Marriage proposal Photo of Roger Lewin Piano Roger Lewin Piano "It was a very worthwhile booking. Roger, Phil and Sarah-Jane provided our Group with great music that afternoon. Highly recommended" Based in Gillingham, England (24 miles from Canterbury) 1st December 2025 Will Buckle - MS SOCIETY LUNCH Photo of The Dark Moon Ensemble The Dark Moon Ensemble "Just had a listen to you guys on Bandcamp, beautiful stuff!!" Ed was such a brilliant addition to the day playing on both a grand piano and keyboard for our wedding breakfast and cocktail hour. He was really flexible when our timings changed and was a lovely presence on the day. Our guests remarked how brilliant his playing was and how fantastic it was to have a live pianist on the day. We would highly recommend Ed Katherine." Based in London, England (54 miles from Canterbury) 30th May 2026 Amy & Louis - Wedding Photo of Eternal Triangle Eternal Triangle "I met Trevor Watts and his Eternal Triangle band for the first time in 2022 at Cafè Oto in London. It was a fantastic concert, I really enjoyed everything from the band. The percussionist Jamie Harris provided a strong and vigorous accompaniment with his bongos and cymbals, keyboardist Veryan Weston added his immaginific sounds to the ensemble and Trevor Watts stood out for his inventiveness, freshness of phrasing and audience involvement. It was a joy to meet the band members after the show and remain in contact with them over time. We were able to put together a first Italian tour in February 2025 and we're looking forward for new shared adventures. The great musicality of this projects makes it enjoyable from any kind of audience, from people not familiar with creative music to fine jazz connaisseurs. Trevor Watts is undoubtedly one of the main protagonist of European jazz and the work he has done with this band is simply amazing and worth to be discovered. Very recommended (especially when they are on tour!)" Best 40th birthday party ever!" Based in London, England (54 miles from Canterbury) Jane

Frequently asked questions

The average cost of hiring keyboard players is £250, with prices from £80 to £800+. Rates depend on performance duration, the player's experience and the style of music required. Keyboard players are highly versatile and can cover a broad range of genres, from jazz and classical to pop and rock.

The keyboard players for hire cover a huge range of styles including pop, rock, jazz, classical, soul, funk, gospel and electronic music. Many keyboard players are versatile session musicians who can replicate a wide variety of sounds using modern keyboard technology.

Hiring keyboard players is popular for weddings, corporate events, private parties, church services, recording sessions and as session musicians joining an existing band. A solo keyboard player can provide a full-sounding performance using built-in sounds and accompaniment features.

Most keyboard players bring their own keyboard, stand, amplifier and any pedals or accessories needed. For larger venues, a connection to the main PA system may be required. It is worth confirming equipment and power requirements with the musician.

Many keyboard players offer a full entertainment experience as a solo act, using the keyboard's built-in rhythms, bass lines and accompaniment features to create a full band sound. Some also sing while playing. This makes keyboard players a cost-effective choice for events that want live music on a smaller budget.
