"When Richard Ellis Hawley came out to New Zealand to visit Family and friends I took the opportunity to ask Richard if he would come and play the piano at the local rest home that I was doing voluntary work and Richard came and played to the residents for a couple of hours. Richard played a variety of songs from the era that the residents grew up with they loved him playing it was just wonderful it bought back memories to the residents and put a smile on their faces in fact they didn't want Richard to finish. Also I asked Richard for a CD he made of all his friends favourite songs including mine Unforgettable which was posted over to me in New Zealand where I live and I play it to my friends. Richard is a very gifted and talented musician would recommend him for all occasions."

He read the mood of the room perfectly, playing songs which got even the most timid of guests up and dancing. He even played a little Mr & Mrs spin off, which was a perfect way to get the guests away from the buffet and onto the dancefloor. Than you for making the evening to unforgettable (although my memory was a bit fuzzy towards the end!)"
