"The Aegir Room February 1, 26 FB post: Had a wonderful evening seeing Paul Wainwright perform at The Oswego Hotel’s Aegir Room in James Bay. From the moment he started playing, it was clear we were in for something special. A terrific performance in an intimate setting, paired with delicious food, cold beverages, and genuinely excellent service — it all added up to a delightful night of music, friends, and great vibes. If you haven’t seen Paul Wainwright perform (and honestly, where have you been? He’s been a mainstay of the local music scene for years), I highly recommend you make it a point to catch him live. Good news: Paul will be back at the Aegir Room (the coolest lounge in Victoria) at The Oswego Hotel on Sunday, February 8th and Sunday, February 15th, from 6:00–8:00 pm. Reservations are recommended. "Our wedding DJ, Sound By Design, recommended Robert as a solo saxophonist for our wedding in July. Robert was communicative, and most importantly flexible while preparing for our wedding. He offered us a list of songs he was confident playing, but also allowed us to choose songs for him to learn (which he did flawlessly)! Along with being professional, he was FUN and interactive with our guests, which was honestly the cherry on top! It was evident that these qualities would carry over into his music instruction with students as well! We are so grateful for you, Robert!"

What a celebration of the fullness of life and optimism. Watts has emerged from the UK avant-garde. He has a vast curriculum vitae: Spontaneous Music Ensemble, Amalgam in the 1960s and '70s and Moiré Music in the '80s and beyond. Watts has commented on the intolerance and backbiting of the scene. He has gone beyond that now. This is a man who seeks out melodies, relishes tunes, loves rhythms. His music and his mind are effervescent."

João and his team were so helpful during the planning process of this, as we are a U.K. based organisation planning our first event in Lisbon, his help was greatly apricated.
