Piano players bring versatility that few other solo musicians can match. A single performer can cover gentle classical pieces for a ceremony, relaxed jazz at a drinks reception and contemporary pop hits for an evening celebration, adapting their style to each part of your event.
The style of music matters most when picking a piano player. Jazz-focused performers lean towards standards and swing, while classically trained pianists excel at formal ceremony repertoire. Many modern piano players blend genres freely, moving between instrumental covers of current chart songs and traditional favorites within the same set. Some also offer vocals, turning a solo piano booking into a full singer-pianist act. If your venue has an in-house piano, let the performer know in advance so they can assess whether to use it or bring their own digital keyboard.
Rates for pianists in Portugal typically run between about €100 and €900+, with an average of €300. Shorter ceremony-only bookings sit at the lower end, while full-day packages covering multiple parts of a wedding or event cost more. Performance length, travel distance and whether the pianist provides vocals or additional equipment all affect the final price.
The average price is €300 (EUR), with most priced from €100 to €900+. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

Drummer/Percussion
"Amazing entertainment by Davide Rodrigues at our corporate dinner! Highly recommend for any cocktail or dinner ambiance! Thank you!"
Pugsley Buzzard
"Who ever says 'they don't write 'em like they used to' should take a listen to Pugsley Buzzard's latest album Wooden Kimono. Buzzard is a bewitching songwriter and storyteller often combining groove laden or playful tunes with dark lyrics. Showing off his renowned blues - jazz piano style and infectious raspy vocals, Pugsley is complemented on this album by a top band of horns and down and dirty guitar, that makes for hot listening. ". Patrícia Costa Pianist
"Patricia played at a private dinner at my house and she was simply wonderful, very professional and with a beautiful repertoire. We loved her performance and highly recommend Patrícia Costa."
Alpha Realm Music
"I booked Alpha Realm Music for an event in Cascais for three days and different sets, His level of detail is very fascinating. He is worth the money. Looking forward to our next event together this summer."
Farja
"Farja was absolutely fantastic at our wedding at Cortijo Bravo, Málaga, on 5th October 2026. Her performance during our cocktail hour was incredible and added such a special touch to our day.
From the beginning, she was friendly, professional and a pleasure to work with. Her communication was great, and she made everything so easy in the lead-up to the wedding. Her voice was absolutely beautiful, and she created the perfect atmosphere for our guests to relax, enjoy themselves and celebrate with us.
She also worked brilliantly alongside Jandor, our DJ, and the other wedding suppliers, helping everything flow seamlessly. It was clear how much she cared about delivering a great performance, and our guests loved her.
We’ve had so many lovely comments about our wedding, and Farja’s singing was definitely one of the highlights. We’re so glad we chose her and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any couple looking for a talented singer who will make their wedding feel extra special. Thank you, Farja, for being part of such an unforgettable day!"
