Brittani Jay live band was awesome, entertaining and professional! I found the band through Gigmasters, and I really like the samples there and that they had positive reviews on that site. From booking to the actual event, everything was very easy and efficient. They took note of what our musical requests were from a pre-event meeting and were very accommodating. Would definitely recommend and hire them again for sure!" Based in Mesa, Arizona (457 miles from Santa Barbara) 24th October 2025 Vince Quinn - NAACP leaders

Pricing for R&B vocalists ranges from $150 to $2,250+, with an average of $550. Rates depend on the vocalist's experience, set length and whether the performance is backed by tracks or live musicians. R&B vocalists are a popular choice for events that call for soulful, emotive performances covering classic and contemporary material.

Hiring R&B vocalists suits a wide range of events including weddings, corporate parties, birthday celebrations, gala dinners and private functions. R&B vocals create a soulful, sophisticated atmosphere that works for both relaxed dining and energetic dance sets.

Many R&B vocalists offer flexible formats including solo performances with backing tracks, acoustic accompaniment or a full live band. The right option depends on the event, venue and budget. It is advisable to discuss available formats when making an enquiry.

Most R&B vocalists are happy to learn a specific song for a special moment such as a first dance. For the best experience, make requests well in advance to allow preparation time.
