From start to finish he was so flexible and accommodating - at one point he even sorted out a mic stand last minute for our speeches when it wasn't originally part of the plan, and he helped our celebrant get sorted with mics too. Nothing felt like too much trouble.
The music throughout the whole day was spot on and really set the tone, the atmosphere was great from start to finish. And the smoke filled bubbles on the dance floor were such a brilliant touch, we'd never seen anything like it before and they were so much fun, everyone loved them!
Couldn't have asked for a better DJ, would recommend him to anyone.

He has an incredible stage presence and knows exactly how to read the atmosphere. The cocktail part felt elegant and sophisticated, and when the party started he completely lifted the energy of the room.
The way he integrates the saxophone with the DJ music feels modern and powerful, not intrusive, it really elevates the whole experience.
I would absolutely recommend him for weddings or private celebrations."

"Alex of Shaal Sax was an absolute delight to work with and have play at our wedding. We’d highly recommend! My husband and I booked Alex for our wedding just about 10 days before the big day and Alex was great at communicating, offering creative ideas, and adapting without much notice. He was quick to respond, and extremely kind both via the internet and in-person. He showed up hours in advance to make sure technology worked smoothly alongside our DJ, and he bravely played in front of our crowd of ~165 French and American guests moving between dinner tables during dessert and then around the dance floor alongside our DJ for several songs. Having him in the center of the dancing was a huge crowd pleaser. He brought the energy up from about 7/10 to 11/10! ;) everyone loved it so much and he will truly remain such a highlight of our wedding day! Awesome experience hiring Shaal Sax!"

"Really great having Jon perform for our wedding. He was very professional and booking and communications were straightforward and timely, making it really easy to book and not have any worries despite being in the UK!
Jon played for our cocktail hour and was absolutely incredible, so good in fact that it took a few of our guests a minute to notice it was a live performance and not a track! It really added to the relaxed atmosphere we were going for during our cocktails, and everyone loved it!
Later in the evening we had our DJ playing with Jon playing some more tunes that just kept everyone dancing, we even had a conga-style line with Jon at the helm at one point. Really really fun experience and loved having Jon performing for us, highly recommended!
