Zatanna is a well-known fictional character from Comics, daughter of a great magician. Ours is quite real, a regular at the cabarets of Nice, Saint-Tropez and Monaco. She has retained a certain wit, quite classy however, with some repartees typical of the cabaret world.
On the small stage of the Paradise in Avignon she performs twice, including one with a show focused on mentalism which is one of her specialties. I saw the other show, more family-friendly, with strong participation from children. It must be said that there are quite a few of them in the room, with their parents equally dazzled as them. The magician presents some classic general magic effects then tackles the demanding repertoire of mentalism where we remain amazed by the outcome of the tricks. I will mainly remember a very beautiful rope routine on a Devos-style text and a high-flying Chinese rings routine with once again a nice text."
