Tarot Readers for Hire in Stellenbosch

Q: How much do tarot readers cost in Stellenbosch?

The average cost of hiring tarot readers is R2,500, with prices from R380 to R17,000+. Cost depends on the reader's experience, the length of the booking and whether readings are delivered individually or as a group session. Tarot readers are popular for parties, festivals and themed events.

Q: What events are tarot readers suitable for?

Many clients book tarot readers for private and pre-wedding parties, Halloween events, corporate entertainment, themed nights and wedding receptions. Tarot readings provide a personal, one-on-one experience that creates talking points and memorable moments.

Q: How does a tarot card reader work at an event?

Most tarot readers set up at a table (often with a themed cloth and candles) and give individual readings to guests. Each reading typically lasts five to ten minutes. Some tarot readers also offer group readings or roaming readings for a different format.

Q: Can tarot readers see all the guests at a large event?

Most tarot readers can give approximately six to eight readings per hour, depending on reading length. For larger events, booking multiple tarot readers ensures more guests are covered. It is a good idea to discuss expected guest numbers with the performer.

Q: Do tarot readers need a private area to work in?

Most tarot readers work best at a small table in a quieter corner, away from a band or speakers, so guests can hear and speak comfortably. A separate room is not essential, though some readers prefer a screened area for privacy. It is worth agreeing the spot with the venue when the booking is confirmed.

Q: Are tarot readings suitable for guests who have never had one?

Event readings are usually short, light and focused on the year ahead rather than anything heavy, which suits first-time guests well. Most readers are used to putting people at ease and will explain the cards as they go. Guests can always watch a friend's reading first if they would rather not sit down alone.

Q: Is a tarot reader able to work at an outdoor event?

Outdoor bookings are common, though most readers ask for a gazebo, tent or covered corner so the cards are not affected by wind or damp. Lighting matters too if the event runs into the evening. Confirming the setup with the reader beforehand avoids problems on the day.

Q: Can I contact multiple suppliers at the same time?

Yes, either add suppliers to your favourites and contact them all at once, or use the find a supplier wizard .

Q: How far in advance do we need to book?

Booking as early as possible increases the chance of securing your supplier's availability on your event date, particularly during busy times of the year. However, many suppliers also accept last minute bookings, and we have successfully arranged bookings for clients with just a few hours' notice.

Q: How do I book and when do I pay?

Contact the supplier you are interested in booking by clicking "Contact Now" on their listing. Discuss your requirements using our messaging system or join a video meeting (like a Zoom-call) to speak face-to-face. Once you are ready to confirm your booking, simply ask the supplier to send you a contract, which you can agree to online, or request amendments. Once you agree to the contract you will be asked to pay a 10% booking fee to confirm the booking, with the balance payable directly to the supplier by the due date you've agreed on.

Druidess Antonia "I had THE ORACLE (€80) reading and it was definitely worth the money. We did her "Witch's mirror" spread and her signature "what the hell is going on my life" spread to answer some specific questions I had and I really resonated with what she read. I can't wait to go back and get another reading. Honestly, she gave me more clarity than my psychologist ever did lol." Based in Leuven, Flanders, Belgium (5,923 miles from Stellenbosch) 26th October 2026 Sol - Private reading

Nicola Kelleher Fortune Teller "I hired Nicola for my recent Halloween party, and she was exceptional from start to finish. From the very first message, she clearly explained her services and kept in friendly, consistent contact throughout. On the night, she arrived early to set up, looking absolutely stunning in her mystic costume, complete with beautifully curated props that set the perfect atmosphere. She was an instant hit—everyone wanted a reading, and she worked her magic, giving each guest a wonderful experience and managing to fit in as many readings as possible. The feedback afterwards was incredible. My guests were full of praise and genuinely impressed by the detail and accuracy of her readings. Nicola, thank you for bringing such energy, charm, and talent to the evening. You truly elevated the entire party! x" Based in London, England, United Kingdom (6,015 miles from Stellenbosch) 26th November 2025 Una Scott - Halloween Party

Gypsy Fortune teller / Zaza Green Woman "I absolutely loved the tarot reading with Zaza. It was my first one so I did not know really what to expect but it blew me away. Zaza's loving and gentle way of guiding me through whatever it was that came up made me feel very safe, and so seen at the same time. Zaza, you are such a beautiful soul and I am so very happy that I found you in guiding me, cause this will not be the last reading I have done with you. Thank you for everything!"
