Hiring an electric violin act in Edinburgh typically costs between about £140 and £850+, with most quotes landing around £370. When comparing quotes, check what each includes: PA and lighting, arrival and setup time, and any extras such as a ceremony set or a late finish. Acts price a full wedding day covering ceremony, drinks and evening party differently from a single evening set, so describe the whole event when you enquire. Mary Gristwood
"The Rock Ceilidh Band did a two piece ceilidh for my husband's 40th and they were just excellent. It was a daytime party with a small crowd in a village hall, and everyone loved their music, their easy approach to getting us dancing and how engaging they were with us. Really fantastic band, so pleased we booked them!"
Scarlett Strings - Violin + Singing
"Scarlett was incredible! Everything about our experience was perfect from the communication to her performance. She learnt a new song for our aisle song and it was beautiful. All our guests loved the music during the ceremony and drinks reception. It was lovely to have a performance that was so elegant yet personal, I would recommend her to everyone."
Amore Twins Violin Duo
"Amoretwins duo so good. They made our night. Thank you girls. So happy that you shared that night with us."
Kate Violin
"Kate's pre event contactablity was excellent, her manner very pleasant, she was punctual, undemanding and very helpful and that was before she had even played a note. She performed to a mixed age audience and held us spell-bound by her variety of music which she had selected based upon a brief resume we sent her. The mix of modern, popular and classical music was both recognisable to most and certainly enjoyed by all. She is also such an unassuming young woman. From an audience of circa 200 we wish her every success in the entertainment industry. We will certainly invite her back in the future."
Sensational Violin
"Roksana was absolutely phenomenal! I booked her for our engagement party. We came up with a playlist together a month before and as soon as she started playing everyone jaw's dropped! We will definitely book Roksana for our wedding day, she gave us such incredible evening!
Highly Recommended"
Oscar Tabor - Socially distanced concerts
"I asked Oscar and his brother Barney to record a cover of my mums favourite song for her birthday and she absolutely loved it! It was a beautiful and very personal gift at a time when I couldn't be with her in person. Thank you both!"
