Rates for violin players in Linz begin at about €140 for a single short set, with most quotes coming in near €400 and experienced electric acts carrying their own sound equipment reaching €1,050+. Set length drives the figure more than anything else, followed by whether the performance is acoustic or electric and how far the player travels. Learning a specific piece for a processional or first dance usually adds a small fee, and covering a ceremony and an evening reception together costs more than a single set. Ask for a written quote that states set length, arrival time and the rate if the schedule overruns. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.
