Rates for violin players in Winterthur begin at about CHF120 for a single short set, with most quotes coming in near CHF370 and experienced electric acts carrying their own sound equipment reaching CHF950+. Set length drives the figure more than anything else, followed by whether the performance is acoustic or electric and how far the player travels. Learning a specific piece for a processional or first dance usually adds a small fee, and covering a ceremony and an evening reception together costs more than a single set. Ask for a written quote that states set length, arrival time and the rate if the schedule overruns. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

The DooLallys
"I first witnessed The DooLallys years ago at a kind of impromptu kitchen session. I think deeply soulful is the best way to describe their mix of pipes, strings, and song - seamless switches between O'Carolanesque 18th Century rave style to sweet balladeering, along with true and loving versions of traditional Irish music tunes, all layered with a knowing hedge school poetic sensibility."
Maher Salame. The Violinist
"Maher Salame is with no doubt the future of oriental cross-over violin playing, he started at a very early age. he is a very dynamic and passionate violin player"
Piano and Violin Duo for Events
