Photo of Alan Lee Wilson Alan Lee Wilson "Reviewed on July 4, 2025 • From Shapleigh, ME Alan was incredible at our wedding after party! He kept the vibe just right all night and went above and beyond by learning a few songs on guitar just for us—which meant so much. We’re so appreciative of the care and effort he put into making it all feel personal. Highly recommend!" Based in Portland, Maine Olivia D - Wedding Photo of Adam Karch Adam Karch "I just had the opportunity to review the most recent release, Everything Can Change, from Adam Karch and it's an interesting mix of acoustic and electric fused folk/blues music with solid vocals. Opening with It's Your Song, a contemporary, radio style track with a solid melody and clean acoustic guitar work, Adam Karch shows his stuff on vocal and guitar, backed by Richard Deschenes on bass and Marc-Andre Drouin on drums. JJ Cale's classic, After Midnight gets a substantial rework and I like it. Starting with acoustic slide and fine finger picking, Karch's stylistic vocal phrasing really changes the track and it's as cool as the original. Very nice. Porch Groove (Sunday Morning) is a real relaxing meandering melody on acoustic guitar. Very nice. Another nice cover is Bob Dylan's Don't Think Twice, It's Alright. Karch has one of those voices that is warm and refreshing and his picking style is clean and concise. Very nice. Wrapping the release is another Porch Groove (Saturday Evening) with a more contemporary finger picked melody. Karch is a talented musician and vocalist who has put together a real nice release." Based in Chambly, Quebec, Canada B man - Album review Photo of Nitin Sharma Nitin Sharma "I invited Nitin to perform on stage solo for our private event. He performed for close to 2 hours non-stop and I don't have words to share how awesome he was. Incredible voice and an incredible perforamce that will be remembered for many years. Everyone in the hall enjoyed his songs and guitar to the fullest and it was a night to remember. Good Luck to Nitin he comes across a big future star indeed. 2 Thumps Up!" Great communication and musical awareness.” — Event Client" Based in Montréal, Quebec, Canada 11th November 2025 Mr Lee - Festival Photo of J-Sax J-Sax "We were fortunate to have Jorg perform at our wedding, and he truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment he began his power set at the entrance, it was clear we were in for a treat. His performance was nothing short of spectacular, setting the perfect tone for our special day. During dinner, he transitioned to a jazz set that added a sophisticated and enchanting ambiance to the evening. His talent on the saxophone is undeniable, captivating our guests and making the night even more memorable. Jorg was incredibly professional, courteous, and sweet. He worked with us to ensure everything was perfect and tailored to our preferences. We couldn't have asked for a better musician to enhance our celebration. If you're looking for a talented saxophonist who can bring both energy and elegance to your event, we highly recommend Jorg!!" Based in Montréal, Quebec, Canada Shereen Cock - Wedding Photo of David Sax David Sax "Absolutely incredible! He was one of the highlights of our wedding. So many guests came up to us saying how amazing he was and asking where we found him. Super talented, easy to work with, and brought such a great vibe to the night. We’d book him again in a heartbeat." Based in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada 2nd August 2026 Kevin Ansems - Wedding

Frequently asked questions

The average price for wedding musicians on Gig Heaven is $500, with rates from $150 to $1,700+. Pricing depends on the type of musician, the number of performers and how many parts of the wedding day are covered. All-day packages that span the ceremony, reception and evening entertainment typically offer better value than booking separately for each.

The wedding musicians include a huge range of performers suited to different parts of a wedding day, including string quartets, harpists, pianists, acoustic duos, jazz bands, singers and party bands. Many musicians offer packages covering multiple parts of the day.

Most wedding musicians can perform during the ceremony (processional, signing of documents, recessional), the drinks reception, the wedding meal, and the evening party. Some artists offer all-day packages that cover multiple segments. It is advisable to browse profiles to find musicians who match the style and schedule of your wedding.

The most popular wedding musicians can be booked up many months in advance during wedding season. Gig Heaven recommends securing your preferred artists six to twelve months before the wedding date. Less popular dates or midweek weddings may have more availability at shorter notice.

Many wedding musicians are happy to learn a special song for a key moment such as walking down the aisle or the first dance. It is worth making any song requests well in advance to allow time for preparation and rehearsal.

Most wedding musicians are self-contained and provide their own instruments and PA system for standard wedding venues. For larger venues, outdoor ceremonies or marquees, additional amplification may be needed. It is a good idea to confirm equipment details with the musician.
