A guide to booking

Hire Wedding Singers in Mexico

Live vocal performances add a personal quality to weddings that playlists and speakers cannot match. Professional wedding singers near you cover a broad mix of genres, from jazz and soul standards to modern chart hits, and most will tailor their setlist to suit your celebration. Whether you need a gentle acoustic set during the ceremony or high-energy entertainment for the evening, local vocalists can adapt their style to each part of the day.

Choosing a Wedding Vocalist Near You

When shortlisting singers in your area, listen to audio and video samples to get a sense of their vocal style and stage presence. Check whether they provide their own PA and microphone, as this can affect the overall cost. If your venue has sound restrictions or limited power supply, confirm the performer's setup requirements before booking. Most wedding vocalists are happy to learn one or two songs for special moments, so discuss any requests early to give them preparation time.

Wedding Singer Pricing in Mexico

Wedding singers in Mexico currently range from $2,550 to $31,000+, with $8,500 representing the typical rate. Pricing depends on performance length, the number of sets, equipment provision and travel distance. Solo performers with backing tracks generally cost less than singers who bring a live guitarist or pianist. Booking one vocalist to cover both the ceremony and evening reception is often more cost-effective than hiring separate acts.

Photo of Achy Achy "Achy was absolutely amazing at my birthday party! He has such an incredible voice, the kind that makes you fall in love with his music from the very first song! But beyond his beautiful voice, he has the most wonderful energy and charisma. He literally stole the show and made the entire night unforgettable! Everyone was singing, smiling, dancing, and having the best time! I honestly couldn’t have made a better choice! Thank you, Achy, for bringing so much magic, joy, and incredible vibes to my special day. I would choose you a thousand times over and recommend you wholeheartedly!" Luke managed to get the right volume so people could still talk but also loud enough for the whole room (which was large) to be able to hear. Clients asked if we were having Luke back next year. Totally agree with them." Based in Bristol, England, United Kingdom 16th October 2026 Allyson H - Corporate Event Photo of Carbon Alexander Carbon Alexander "We had Carbon Alexander headline here as part of his tour; he showed fantastic showmanship and had the crowd buzzing and buying drinks throughout his 1-hour performance." Based in London, England, United Kingdom 15th October 2026 The Green Shepherd's bush - Pub venue Photo of The Soulman The Soulman "We originally found The Soulman on GigHeaven and, after making contact, went to watch him perform in Fuengirola before booking. We were genuinely impressed with his singing and his taste in music during his DJ set, and were really excited to have him as part of our wedding in Málaga in early October. We had told our family all about him, shared videos of his performances and built up the excitement around having him there. Our family were equally looking forward to seeing him perform, so we were genuinely invested in making this booking work. Unfortunately, our experience after booking fell well below the standard we expected. Communication was slow and poor from the outset, and at times came across as unprofessional. We also received mixed messages throughout the process, which did little to inspire confidence. Things escalated on 7th August, less than two months before our wedding, when The Soulman informed us of a serious situation involving mould affecting his equipment, which he described as critical. He sent us a photo of a mouldy boot and requested an advance payment towards storage for his equipment, despite us already having paid a €450 deposit. What made the request even more extraordinary was that he expected us to contact and arrange payment directly with a third-party storage provider on his behalf. He forwarded their contact details and bank account information, effectively asking us to organise and pay for the storage of his own equipment. We found this an incredibly unusual request to make of a couple planning their wedding, particularly given the money we had already paid and the fact that this situation related to his own equipment and arrangements. We had also discussed additional songs that The Soulman had agreed to learn for our wedding, but these subsequently became part of the negotiations around his request for advance payment. The mixed messages and the way the situation was communicated left us increasingly uncomfortable. Given the seriousness of the situation as he himself described it, the uncertainty surrounding his equipment and the lack of reassurance that our booking would go ahead as planned, we lost confidence in his ability to deliver the services we had booked. With our wedding fast approaching, we felt we had no choice but to cancel and find an alternative supplier. What followed was arguably even more disappointing. We never received any of our €450 deposit back. There was no acknowledgement of our cancellation, no meaningful attempt to resolve the situation and no discussion about negotiating terms as a gesture of goodwill. Instead, we were blocked and never heard from him again. Thankfully, we found a fantastic replacement DJ, who also recommended an excellent singer and pianist. Both were superb and played a huge part in making our wedding day such a success. They worked brilliantly together, and we couldn’t have asked for a better combination for our day. It was a real relief to have two such talented, professional and reliable people involved, especially after the stress of the preceding weeks. It’s a real shame things turned out this way, as we genuinely liked The Soulman’s singing and taste in music when we first saw him perform, and had every intention of having him as part of our wedding. We had been looking forward to it for months, and so had our family. Unfortunately, the communication and how the situation was handled completely changed our view. The Soulman, I genuinely hope you spent our €450 wisely, mate." Based in Fuengirola, Andalusia, Spain 14th October 2026 Corey - Wedding Photo of Farja Farja "Farja was absolutely fantastic at our wedding at Cortijo Bravo, Málaga, on 5th October 2026. Her performance during our cocktail hour was incredible and added such a special touch to our day. From the beginning, she was friendly, professional and a pleasure to work with. Her communication was great, and she made everything so easy in the lead-up to the wedding. Her voice was absolutely beautiful, and she created the perfect atmosphere for our guests to relax, enjoy themselves and celebrate with us. She also worked brilliantly alongside Jandor, our DJ, and the other wedding suppliers, helping everything flow seamlessly. It was clear how much she cared about delivering a great performance, and our guests loved her. We’ve had so many lovely comments about our wedding, and Farja’s singing was definitely one of the highlights. We’re so glad we chose her and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any couple looking for a talented singer who will make their wedding feel extra special. Thank you, Farja, for being part of such an unforgettable day!" Based in Málaga, Andalusia, Spain 14th October 2026 Corey & Lauren - Wedding

Frequently asked questions

The average cost of hiring wedding singers is $8,500, with prices from $2,550 to $31,000+. Pricing depends on the singer's experience, set duration, accompaniment style and the breadth of the repertoire offered. Wedding singers often provide music across multiple parts of the day, and all-day packages tend to offer better value than separate bookings.

The wedding singers in Mexico cover a wide range of styles including pop, soul, jazz, acoustic, Motown, rock and current chart hits. Many vocalists offer different sets for different parts of the day, such as a gentle acoustic set during the ceremony and a high-energy party set for the evening.

Most wedding singers bring their own microphone, PA system and any backing track equipment. For larger venues, more powerful sound equipment may be needed. It is a good idea to confirm equipment details and check the system is suitable for the venue size.

Popular occasions for hiring wedding singers include wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions, wedding meals and evening parties. A vocalist can provide music across the entire day or for specific parts. Many also perform at engagement parties and rehearsal dinners.

Many wedding singers offer flexible formats including solo performances with professional backing tracks, acoustic accompaniment (guitar or piano) or a full live band. Backing tracks are a popular and cost-effective option that still delivers high-quality live vocals.

Most wedding singers are happy to learn a specific song for the first dance or other special moment. It is advisable to make this request as early as possible to allow preparation time. Many vocalists can also arrange a song in a different style, such as an acoustic version of a dance track.
