The 40 Thieves is an 8-piece covers band, bringing together a wealth of experience in every department.
Members of the band have toured the UK and Europe extensively over the years and have even played at Buckingham Palace. Now they've come together to perform an eclectic mix of covers to get people on their feet , dancing and singing along to classics from a range of eras.
But all is not as it seems. The 40 Thieves isn't your straightforward covers band. A good many of the songs are performed in different styles from the originals.
With a hard-hitting horn section, they ska-up Blondie, Thin Lizzy and The Cure, play swing versions of Prince and AC/DC, and even The Commodores get a reggae vibe.
With such a wide spectrum of hits, there really is something for everyone.

We need a performance space of 6 metres x 4 metres. We need a couple of 13 amp power sockets at each side of the stage.
Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.
We normally arrive 2 or more hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 45 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.
As long as we're under cover, it's flat and there's power.
