I love working at local wineries and restaurants. They get a great mix of people, and since my repertoire is so varied, there's something for everyone.
I love smaller, more intimate settings where I provide background music people enjoy listening to while they're eating, drinking, etc.
I've been playing and singing since I was a young girl...in my 20's and 30's I did cabaret's in NYC with an accompanist. I love to play my guitar and sing...I started again after my kids were grown by volunteering at local senior centers and nursing homes. From there, people asked for my info and started booking me for private events. I just recently started my online presence because I have more time.
I hate this question because I love so many types of artists and styles of music. I have no favorites. I just play what I love.
My typical set up is about 20 minutes. I usually play about 3 hours with small breaks. I can manage four hours. It's just me, my guitar and a tower array sound system.
Yes! I often perform outside.
I prefer using my set list. I like to focus on what I'm good at.
Most clients are very happy with the music I choose because it's so varied. I'm often told I have a very "soothing" voice.
