About / Biography

I graduated from Wells Cathedral School in 2026 as a Percussion Specialist, where I was awarded a Music Scholarship and later became a recipient of the UK Government’s Music and Dance Scheme (MDS). Now, I am a first-year university student studying Special Educational Needs, Disability and Inclusive Practice (SEND).

I have experience performing in orchestras, ensembles and professional recording projects, and I enjoy collaborating with choirs, worship teams and instrumental groups. As a Christian musician, I enjoy using music to support worship and serve the Church. I am available for church services, worship nights, Christmas and Easter celebrations, Christian conferences, concerts, community outreach events, and weddings. Whether performing in a cathedral, church, or community setting, I aim to contribute with professionalism and sensitivity, as well as a heart to serve.

I am available for performances across Bristol, Somerset and the surrounding areas.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

One of my favourite performance experiences has been playing at Wells Cathedral, both performing solo pieces and playing in the brass and percussion prom.

What's your favourite type of event?

I love playing in Churches, Cathedral, charities and weddings!

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I began performing from a young age through school orchestras, churches and community concerts. I studied as a percussion specialist at Wells Cathedral School, where I gained extensive experience performing in orchestras, chamber ensembles and solo recitals. Alongside concert performances, I sometimes play for church services and community occasions. I enjoy creating performances that are welcoming, engaging and meaningful for every audience.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I draw inspiration from a wide range of musicians, from classical percussionists to contemporary worship music. I also love the choral music of John Rutter and Cindy Berry.

What types of events do you perform at?

I normally perform at a concert hall. But I would like to perform at church services, weddings, concerts, Christian conferences, charity events and community events. I am available for both solo performances and ensemble collaborations.

Do you travel for performances?

Yes. I am based in Bristol and am happy to travel throughout the UK (probably not too far). Travel costs may apply depending on the location.

What instruments do you play?

I specialise in orchestral and classical percussion, including marimba, vibraphone, snare drum, timpani and a wide range of percussion instruments. Instrument availability may vary depending on the venue and event requirements. I can also sing and play the violin.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I usually require 30 minutes to an hour to set up, depending on the venue and instrumentation. I offer performances from 30 minutes to 3 hours, and I'm happy to adapt the programme to suit the event.

Are you happy to perform outside?

I'm happy to perform outside, like playing a triangle or tambourine, carol singing or choir, as I won't be able to take a large percussion instrument out.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I can learn specific songs before the event, as long as I have 4 weeks to learn the music. The clients are welcome to pick a set list or let us choose the music.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Teachers, conductors and fellow musicians, even audience often comment that I have a calm and focused stage presence. They have described my performances as mature, expressive and professional, and have said that I work confidently with musicians of all ages and experience levels. I always strive for a high musical standard while remaining supportive, reliable and easy to work with.

Can I request specific pieces of music?

Yes. I'm happy to discuss your preferred repertoire where possible. Advance notice is appreciated, especially if new music needs to be prepared.

Do you perform as a soloist or with other musicians?

Both. I am available as a solo percussionist or as part of an ensemble, depending on the needs of your event.
