Chaos Pirata is a pirate folk punk duo, composed by father and son (16 y.o. in 2025), playing a mix of pirate folk and folk punk music. We write our own compositions, in italian, english, and sometimes german or spanish.
Line up: Captain Walt Boozer (vocals and harmonica), Quartarrrmastarrr Sam Chaos (acoustic guitar and backing vocals).
The acoustic guitar is amplified by a little Pignose battery amp, that makes the sound a bit crunchy. Normally it is better if there's a P.A. on place, so that we can use microphones (if the place is close to Torino, Italy, we can bring our P.A.).
We arrrr economic! Me and my son like ta go playin' 'round tha Seven Seas! So, payoff all costs, an' let us earn a bit fer tha time spent, an' that'll be perrrrrfect!!! Arrrrr, matey!!!
We can play acoustic. But it it much better if we play with a P.A. (mixer, cabinets, etc...). We have our own P.A., that is ok for small events. But we can carry it only if the place is not too far. We use a little Pignose amplifier, and two microphones. If you need the volume to be right for a big audience, then it is better to mic the amplifier, too. The minimum space required is of 3x2 metres. If we are flying by plane, we also need an eletrified acoustic guitar (one that is not so bad...).
We need to know where and when the show has got to be. If there's somebody picking us up, if we come by plane, or train. And ok, let's talk 'bout it.
We have a little P.A. that we can bring if we are close enough to home, so that we can travel by car. We have some stage lighting, very easy.

As Captain Walt Boozer, leader of the ill-famed vessel called Brigada Pirata, I've been playing at Mercantia in Certaldo (Firenze), a majestic street art festival. Then at Pirates, in Germany, too. And many others.
Pirate festival, of course, arrrr our perfect events. But we also like venues, private parties... and folk festivals in general.
Captain Walt Boozer started gigging when he was 17 y.o. (now he's 51). He played in a lot of different projects. The main one has been Brigada Pirata (find it on youtube). Quartarrrmastarrr Sam Chaos is a young musician, 16 y.o. in 2025, so he started gigging with his father when he was 14 y.o., with a punk rock band.
We can say that we have been both inspired by The Pogues, but also The Ramones are in our hearts. But the music we play comes from two other branches: the sea chanteys from one side, and the folk punk on the other hand. It is almost impossible to say which can be the greatest song of all time... in this moment I would say "Impressioni di Settembre" by P.F.M., but I could also say "If I ever leave this world alive" by Flogging Molly... and many other...

Yes. No problem. Just afraid of rain. But we can play everywhere, even on a ship!
Being the songs written by ourselves, well, they can ask our own tracks if they like... We can learn a specific song if we find it appropriate... but we need time.
