About / Biography

A female trio that will take your breath away.

Active for 15 years in Italy and abroad, bringing the best quality polyphonic singing and good old stile roots tarantellas from the south of Italy. A true trip along some of the most amazing regions such as Calabria, Apulia, Sicily and Naples.
Best quality playing, we are polyinstrumentists and singers, playing a vast selection of traditional instruments such as goat skin tamourines, accordions, battente guitar, mediterranean lyra, violin and cane flutes.
Believe us: we are the real thing. We learnt most songs from old village people, we love what we do and are sure to transmit it with all the passion we feel while singing and playing.

We can offer both a dancing concert, with devil-style tarantella rhythms or a quieter atmosphere gig, given by our repertoire of songs accompanied by softer instruments and a cappella.

We can play acoustic, like in the good old days, or amplified. The quality remains the same.

Book us. You will not regret it. We truly rock our folk music ♥️

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

The best was surely the British Museum, London, where we had the honor to play for the exhibition Sicily Culture and Conquest, in 2016. But also for the opening ceremony of Slow Food, Terra Madre in the huge venue of Pala Alpitour in Turin.

What's your favourite type of event?

Concerts in theatre, in church, in a square. Venues where people can both enjoy a good listening experience and dancing, if they wish.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

We have been performing for the past 14 years, all around Italy and Europe, in Switzerland, France, Belgium, Great Britain..
We love playing live, that is where the music is brought to life!

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino for sure, Enza Pagliara, Dario Muci, Giancarlo Paglialunga.. These are some of our inspiration artists

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

1h30 / 2hours
Set up depends on the sound service, we usually arrive in the afternoon for a good sound check (that needs at least 1h, 1h30) and then have dinner and dress, warm up to start play in the evening

Are you happy to perform outside?

yes we are!

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

We are always happy to satisfy our clients' requests if possible.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

People love what we do. They describe it like "the real thing", like a very roots experience and energetic, specially when playing tarantella music, but also emotional when we sing. They say our singing recalls old village singing, and some people have actually told us our a cappella pieces where one of the best thing they had ever heard!
