Chuck Lieurance is a Texas-based second generation musician who has been playing music since the age of eight. Blending a love for country roots with a subtle rock and Tex-Mex edge, his evocative songwriting and rich vocals have made him an upcoming standout performer in the Texas country scene. Alongside his band, the Rio Frio Boys, Chuck continues to captivate audiences with every performance, bringing a raw, authentic Texas spirit to every stage.

We need enough power outlets, room for a 5 piece band, and parking for a van with a trailer.
Directions, time and date. Best time to load in and set up. Let us know if the venue provides a PA system as well as stage lighting.
We have our own equipment but depending on the size of the venue/event we may have to rent a bigger PA system.

Charles “Chuck” Lieurance is a second generation country music artist. Born in 1982, he grew up around the south Texas music scene and began playing drums at age 8. He played music in various school programs and performed with various different bands and genres in his 20s and 30s & in 2022 was involved in a car accident and abruptly lost his corporate career in early 2023. He then turned his attention to music and has been performing and writing since. He released his first single “just this time” with the “Southern Wild Country Band” in 2024 and now has released his second and latest single entitled “Me & You” in 2026 featuring his new band “The Rio Frio Boys” He hopes to gain a bigger following and tour regionally in the next few years.
Johnny Cash has always been a great influence. but of course, we are love us some George strait, Randy Rogers and Alan Jackson! Our Favorite song to date has been "The Dance” by Garth Brooks or “Wicked Game” by Chris Isaak . Something about the lyrics and the haunting sound of the fiddle always moves people!
We always arrive 2-3 hours early to set up and sound check. We make sure everything is sounding good, no feedback or any other issues! We usually tailor our setlists for the crowd we perform for, and we do take requests!
We’re happy to play wherever you need to us to perform as long as there’s shade, power, and a clean flat surface for the band.
If they have certain songs they would like us to play let us know and we can learn them in advance. We have no problem with it but we do have a set repertoire list.
