Duology is an acoustic duo playing classic acoustic rock and Americana music. Based in Huntington Beach, CA, Tim and Shelah have been performing together for over 10 years. Expressive harmonies and solid musicianship are their forte. They have combined their musical experience and expertise by arranging classic rock tunes with a dash of country and swing classics for acoustic guitar, violin, and vocals.
Duology is perfect for intimate venues as well as larger functions and available to perform at your wedding, anniversary, retirement celebration, party, concert, or for your winery/brewery/restaurant customers.
Depending on the venue requirements, Duology can perform with professional sound system or without sound reinforcement.

We have played a bluegrass festivals and private parties in CA, Nevada and Arizona.
We love playing all venues but like intimate venues best. Its always nice to be able to see and talk with the audience.
We have been playing separately and together for over 30 years. Shelah is past Southern California Fiddle Champion (3 times), worked at Knott's Berry Farm; toured to Japan and does studio work. Tim does studio work, performed with many bands and is a multi-instrumentalist.

We normally arrive 1 1/2 hours before to set up. We can perform 2 or 3 45-minute sets, but can work with you on this.
We are happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We can learn specific 1 or 2 songs before the event. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
