Erik is an award-winning classical trumpeter with degrees from Arizona State University and the Cleveland Institute of Music. He spent five years as a regular substitute trumpeter with the Cleveland Orchestra, performing at Severance Hall and Blossom Amphitheatre under conductors including Pierre Boulez and Franz Welser-Möst, and held the tenured Second/Utility Trumpet chair with the Canton Symphony Orchestra.

As founder of the Ohio Brass Ensembles he ran some of the most active brass groups in the state, and as a US Army bugler he performed at more than a hundred services a year. From solo ceremonial trumpet to orchestral, jazz and brass-ensemble work, Erik brings concert-hall polish to any event.
