Standard Alchemy Jazz Cocktail jazz duo, trio or quartet: swing, Rat Pack & Great American Songbook

Mixed Bag is aptly named! Their musical style is varied (from classic jazz standards to modern favorites with a smooth beat). The members jive uniquely with one another and engage with the crowd without forcing their presence. We were in an upscale wine bar and the tempo and volume matched the atmosphere perfectly. Mixed Bag would add life to any gathering, large or small!

I arrived the reception hall late with 100 little worries on my mind, but as I walked up with to the melodious sounds of horn & bass playing "Take 5," I knew then that everything was going to be more than fine. These musicians are talented, flexible, professional with a good dose of personality. It was the easiest and best decision I made to hire a live band instead of a DJ for my wedding. I am holding onto their card for our next soiree. I would highly recommend these guys for any occasion.

My wife Janet and I have seen Mixed Bag quite a few times now in the Montrose area . Every time has been a great entertaining evening. We dance , we laugh , we have fun guessing the name of the songs . Thanks guys for being in this area . We can’t wait for the next show !

Played at our wedding reception, great band! Music was wonderful, very talented musicians and super easy and friendly to work with!

...was such a delightful addition at our daughter's wedding. ... worked closely with the bride and groom to plan the music for the ceremony and the cocktail reception, and participated in the rehearsal so that he was well-prepared for the event. We were thoroughly pleased with Josiah's musical expertise and affable demeanor." "...is a true professional!

Big surprise at Rustic Charm! We wandered in to find GREAT jazz on a Sunday. Lovely and lively tunes made us smile. Can’t miss them again.
