El Gato Flamenco Show Traditional flamenco show with live guitar, singer and dancers— Costa del Sol.

Technical requirements:
We need a performance space of approximately 4m x 3m — our portable wooden dance
floor (2m x 2.4m) plus space alongside for the guitarist, singer and sound
equipment. The surface must be firm and level; it cannot be set up on grass. We
require one power outlet nearby, and parking for 2 vehicles for the group.

We need to know how to reach the venue and where to set up, plus whether the
surface is suitable for our wooden dance floor (no grass or uneven ground) and
whether there's a sound limiter in place.

Yes, we're fully self-sufficient — we bring our own sound system, microphones
and lighting, so no equipment is needed from the venue.

Yes, we play background music via Spotify before the event and during breaks —
we curate the playlist ourselves.

This group performs regularly as a resident flamenco show at venues on the
Costa del Sol, including a weekly cuadro flamenco slot and a resident theatre
show in Málaga. Playing the same stage week after week, in front of an audience
that really watches, is where a cuadro earns its polish.

Weddings. A cuadro flamenco at the right moment — after the ceremony, during
the reception — turns into the one thing every guest remembers and talks about
afterwards.

The guitarist has over 20 years of experience and has led this group through
years of regular performances at flamenco venues across the Costa del Sol,
alongside private events and weddings.

Paco de Lucía is the reference point for the whole group — his work shaped
what flamenco guitar and ensemble playing could be. On stage, a rumba never
fails to lift the room.

We usually arrive 60-90 minutes before the performance to set up the dance floor, sound and lighting. A typical cuadro flamenco show runs 30-45 minutes, long enough to build real energy without losing the room. Happy to adjust the timing to fit the event.

Yes, we're happy to perform outdoors. We just need a firm, level surface for the dance floor (not grass) and a power outlet nearby. Shade is appreciated but not essential.

This is a traditional flamenco show built around live cante and baile, so it isn't request-based like a covers band. We're happy to talk through the style and mood you want in advance, whether that's festive bulerías or a more intimate soleá.
