I started playing weddings in college all over New England on the weekends. There I learned how these events usually go and how to make sure they run smoothly.
One of my favorite artists is Chris Thile and I especially love his collaboration with Yo-Yo Ma, Edgar Meyer and Stuart Duncan, the "Goat Rodeo Sessions." My favorite song off that album is Franz and the Eagle.
It does not take me long to set up but I usually arrive at least 45 minutes early to be safe. I usually perform wedding ceremonies and cocktail hours, which are typically 30 minutes and an hour respectively, but this can fluctuate.
