Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

Our technical requirements vary depending on the performance lineup.

For solo, duo and trio performances, we require a suitable performance area, access to a safe, reliable power supply and sufficient space for our instruments and sound equipment.

Full-band performances require a larger performance area, with specific space and power requirements confirmed in advance.

We also request convenient access for loading and unloading equipment, along with suitable parking arrangements.

We’re happy to discuss the setup with your venue to ensure everything runs smoothly.

What information do you require about a venue?

We’d love to know a little about your venue, including the available performance space, whether the event is indoors or outdoors, and access to electrical power.

It’s also helpful to know about parking, loading access, stairs or other access restrictions, any sound limitations, and whether the venue provides its own sound equipment.

For outdoor events, suitable weather protection and a contingency plan are required.

We’re always happy to coordinate directly with the venue to make arrangements as straightforward as possible.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes! We can provide our own professional PA system, microphones and sound equipment for solo, duo and trio performances, making our smaller setups largely self-contained.

For full-band performances, sound and lighting requirements will depend on the venue size, audience and event specifications. Additional production equipment can be arranged where required, subject to availability and quotation.

We’re also happy to work with a venue’s existing professional sound system and technical team.

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely! We can arrange background music before the performance and between live sets to help keep the atmosphere going.

Music can be tailored to your event and preferences, whether you’re looking for relaxed background tracks or upbeat party favourites.

For events requiring a dedicated DJ service, continuous dance-floor entertainment or music after the live performance, please enquire about additional options and availability.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

It’s difficult to choose just one! One of the highlights of my career has been spending four years performing professionally aboard P&O Cruises. Getting to entertain audiences from all over the world, perform in different productions and experience the energy of live shows night after night was incredible.

Those years really shaped me as a performer and taught me how to connect with all kinds of audiences. I love the buzz of a big stage, but some of my favourite performances have also been smaller, more intimate events where you can really connect with the crowd.

What's your favourite type of event?

I absolutely love events where people are ready to have a great time! Weddings, private parties and celebrations are always fantastic because there’s such a brilliant atmosphere.

There’s nothing better than seeing people singing along, dancing and enjoying themselves. I particularly love performing rock and pop classics that everyone knows, especially those big songs that get the whole room involved!

That said, I equally enjoy creating a more relaxed atmosphere for an intimate acoustic performance. Every event is different, and that’s one of the things I love most about what I do.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

My professional performing career began after graduating from drama school, when I landed my first role in a production of Pinocchio. From there, I went on to tour Italy before joining the show team aboard Mein Schiff cruise ships, performing in professional productions for international audiences until COVID brought everything to a halt.

During the years that followed, I worked as a singing waitress in the heart of Soho, London, before eventually returning to sea, this time as the lead vocalist in a live band aboard a cruise ship.

Despite all those years of performing professionally, it wasn’t until after my cruise ship career that I discovered the world of gigging!

I’d never really done it before, but once I started, I was completely hooked, and I haven’t stopped since!

I absolutely love the variety, the freedom to perform music I genuinely enjoy and, most importantly, the connection with the audience. Whether I’m performing solo, acoustically or fronting a full live band, there’

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

My musical influences are quite varied, but I’ve always been drawn to artists who can really tell a story through their music.

Carole King and Etta James are two of my all-time favourites. I love the honesty, soul and emotion in their voices and songwriting. I’ve also always adored Céline Dion — her incredible vocals and ability to make you feel every word are something I’ve always admired.

More recently, RAYE has become a huge favourite of mine. I think she’s an absolutely phenomenal artist, and her music really resonates with me.

Choosing the greatest song of all time is almost impossible, but one song I keep coming back to is Oscar Winning Tears by RAYE. No matter how many times I listen to it, it never fails to move me. For me, that’s what great music is all about — making people feel something.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

My typical performances consist of either 2 x 45-minute or 3 x 45-minute sets, although I’m always happy to discuss different timings to suit your event.

For solo performances, I generally allow around 45–60 minutes for setup and soundcheck. Duos and trios usually require approximately 60–90 minutes, while full-band performances may need up to 2 hours, depending on the venue and technical requirements.

I always aim to arrive with plenty of time to get everything set up, soundchecked and ready to go well before your event begins.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Absolutely! I love performing outdoors, especially during the warmer months!

All I ask is for a safe, flat performance area, access to a suitable power supply and adequate shelter to protect performers, instruments and electrical equipment from rain and direct sunlight.

For outdoor events, I also ask that a suitable indoor alternative or contingency plan is available in case of poor weather.

I’m always happy to discuss the setup beforehand to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Of course! I want the music to reflect you and the atmosphere you’re hoping to create.

I have an extensive repertoire covering a variety of genres and decades, and I’m always happy for clients to choose their favourites or let me put together a setlist that suits the occasion.

If there’s a particular song you’d love to hear that isn’t already in my repertoire, I’m happy to discuss learning it especially for your event, subject to suitability and preparation time.

Whether you’re after relaxed background music, singalong classics or a lively party atmosphere, I’ll work with you to create the right musical experience.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

I’m often complimented on my powerful vocals, energy and ability to connect with an audience.

I love getting people involved, whether that’s encouraging a singalong, getting everyone dancing or simply creating a lovely atmosphere for guests to enjoy.

I also take a lot of pride in being reliable, professional and easy to work with. I want clients to feel completely confident that their entertainment is in good hands.

Most importantly, I genuinely love what I do, and I think that enthusiasm comes across in every performance!
