Most of what decides whether a booking runs smoothly is settled before the band arrives, and it depends on the room. Venues in Ontario, Canada range from function suites with a house PA and a fixed curfew to marquees and outdoor terraces where everything has to be carried in, and the same five-piece behaves quite differently in each.
