Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

The best gig we have done was in SIRF Festival in Stockton-On-Tees for a crowd of over 10,000 people. Another remarkable gig was in the Old Trafford for the Manchester United Football Club and their sponsorship with Casillero del Diablo as well as the British Pub Awards at The Victoria House, Manchester. More than 2,000 people in the crowd.

What's your favourite type of event?

We love playing at all sorts of events but Festivals and Weddings are our favourite. Making guests dancing, singing and connecting during special moments is extremely rewarding. It makes our careers make sense.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

After 15 years gigging there are a lot of good memories to mention. We started gigging whilst at university and our performances developed from there. Since we started we’ve performed at hundreds of weddings, parties and events across the UK and beyond.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

What a difficult question. We have been influenced by most of the artists that we perform. With a setlist of over +140 songs we play music from artists such as Fatboy Slim, Sting, Santana, Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd, Fela Kuti, Gorilaz, Gypsy Kings, Sisco, Buena Vista Social club, La Fania, Gorillaz, Miami Sound Machine, Anderson Paak, Bruno Mars, Ricky Martin, Bad Bunny, Sean Paul, Outkasts, Chaka Khan, Bob Marley, Chicha Libre, Adel, Stevie Wonder, Michael Bublé, Goran Bregović, Dua Lipa, U2, Daddy Yankee, King Chango, Celia Cruz, Soda Stereo, Dean Martin, Tito Puente, Jeniffer Lopez, Mark Anthony, Putu Mayo, and so on.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

Let's say that the most common setup is a 4-piece band, but varies a lot really. We normally arrive 1 hour before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.

Are you happy to perform outside?

We’re happy to play outside as soon as there is shade provided for raining days, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

We are happy to please requests as soon as they give us plenty time notice in advance. The clients are also welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous customers describe us as a high-energy group that loves to get the audience on their feet dancing, singing and smiling.

Can you guys do more than 2 sets?

Yes, we have a setlist of over +140 tunes. Perhaps our maximum resistance for a night will be 5 sets of 30 minutes each.

Do you guys play just Caribbean / Latin music?

We are versatile, we can play British/American Pop tunes as they originally are, or we can do a Latin Twist of them.

Can you play a full set of Latin music?

Oh Yes, we can perform a full 3 sets of 45 minutes of Salsa, Psychedelic Cumbia, Afrobeat, Calypso, Reggae, Samba, Rumba, Balkan, Cha Cha Cha, and Son Cubano, among others

Do you perform abroad?

Yes, we had performed in Spain, Italy, Qatar, and we would love to perform in South-America. We are happy to continue performing abroad.
