No, but I can recommend a 3rd party professional service supplier
Yes, I can recommend a Professional DJ
I was the primary MC for the HSBC Sevens Rugby Tournament in George, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town every year for over 8 years where I had the responsibility of engaging the stadium with my humour to actively support their teams. It was amazing to also present to camera for the big screen
I love the variety and opportunity that comes with all types of events. From outdoor Food and Wine festivals; Sporting events; Stadium Sports events; to large indoor Expo events; Business Summits; Product Launches to the more intimate Corporate events and Gala Dinners - I adapt my energy and performance for each and I learn something each time.
I started performing a One -Man political satire comedy show in 1996 when I was in Grade 11. I wrote, produced and performed that show and travelled South Africa performing it to much acclaim. In 2001 I started working as a Radio DJ on a Campus station. I was used to MC all station events. Then, in 2005 I went to London and performed Stand-up Comedy where I was offered a residency at Zula Bar in Clapham. I returned to SA to pursue my Radio career and have been a professional Emcee and Radio Presenter.
My favourite group is the Waterboys with their song Whole of The Moon. However, I used to impersonate Michael Jackson on the dance floor and became quite renown in social circles for my rendition of Billie Jean.
I like to have a pre-event meeting or briefing with client in the weeks before an event. 2-3 weeks before is ideal. Then I prepare with all notes given to me and I arrive at the Venue 1 hour before guests arrival.
Yes, as long as the sound set-up means I don't have to shout to be heard.
