My name is JD Burns—I’m a guitarist and vocalist currently available for solo acoustic performances. I also play in Final Thirteen, a highly successful band fresh off a UK and Irish tour.
My solo sets feature a mix of crowd-pleasing acoustic covers, ranging from The Beatles and Johnny Cash to Oasis and Foo Fighters. Whether you're after upbeat energy or a laid-back atmosphere, I tailor each set to suit the vibe of the venue and audience.
I’m fully self-contained with my own professional equipment, and I’m experienced in performing in a wide range of live settings—from pubs and bars to festivals and private events.

= areas covered (up to 110 miles)As a touring artist is hard to pick a favourite venue but the venue that sticks out the most for me is Bannermans, Edinburgh. Here I got to share a stage that had previously had the likes of Gun n Rose's and Whitesnake perform on, that was magical
As the guitarist of Final Thirteen I have a limited vocal presence as our main vocalist is phenomenal, so obviously I step aside t9 allow her to take the lead vocalist spot.
....but I yearn to be on the mic so my favourite kinda gig is when I have a microphone in frontbof me🙃🤘🎸🫶
I have been playing guitar since the age of 8, and although I am self taught I have poured and played all over the UK, from big festivals to intimate solo events
I normally play 2x 45min sets but am open to playing longer if required

I can take requests previous to the event date, but I do not take requests mid-set. I hold myself to an extremely high standard and will not attempt a song live in which I haven't previously rehearsed
