Since the pipes are acoustic, there are no technical requirements.

I would need the general size of the venue, but am able to move around freely.

I do not provide sound and lighting equipment.

This is not part of my service.

Slightly unexpected but possibly my favourite gig I have played was for a group of young children as part of a musical appreciation day. I ended up leading them in circles around the playground whilst they danced behind me.

Simply anything that marks a special occasion in somebodies life.

I have been gigging for close to 20 years and have played countless birthdays, weddings, funerals and more.

Possibly one of the greatest piper to ever live, Gordon Duncan, has been a massive influence on my piping journey. A favourite piece of his is entitled 'Andy Renwick's Ferret' and it is great fun to play.

I have been playing the pipes for over 24 years, and at this stage it is like second nature to me.

I normally arrive 30 mins before to set up.

Playing outside is no problem, as I can move about freely.

I'm happy to play specific songs if the request is made beforehand.

Previous clients have always applauded the extra-special touch that my playing brought to their event.

My playing time depends on your needs. I could be a few short minutes to mark the beginning or the end of a ceremony, or provide background music for 30-40 minutes.
