About / Biography

I am an experienced singer/musician/performer with the Ukulele as my current main instrument who offers solo and duo entertainment for weddingsparties as well as wedding ceremonies, art shows, functions, parties, babtisms, brunches, funerals etc...

I also work in duos with other guitarists and pianists, so if you need a richer, more full and versatile sound, you might consider booking me as a duo.

My range of music covers well known covers from 1940's to the latest contemporary hits. Songs as well as instrumental music.

From early 40's swing and jazz to recent hits from Lady Gaga and Biliie Eilish, german Schlager to hawaian songs like Somewhere over the Rainbow...

I can adjust my set entirely to your tastes, and to the audience, so that the audience can fully relate and enjoy their musical experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

last year I had the honour of performing at a sold out Festival of Word & Music in front of 400 people in a large historic hall with a great sound system, extremely well organised and a great team of sound engineers
It was a very moving powerful experience

What's your favourite type of event?

Being a composer and singer/songwriter, of course I enjoy concerts where I can play my own work most.
Having said that, I also love singing covers at weddings, especially intimate wedding ceremonies, intimate parties or art show openings, the Ukulele and my soft voice lend itself very well to these intimate settings and moments

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I started out very young and played in school plays and ensembles. Then I started busking and playing at markets, and eventually in bars and for private events, festivals, open mics, restaurants etc...
I started playing and singing and playing professionally at age 19 and have been performing ever since internationally in Ireland, England, America, Sweden, Austria, Italy and Germany at festivals and all sorts of settings and events.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

Norah Jones, Joni Mitchell, Beady Belle, Torun Erikson, Silje Nergaard, Zero 7, Stevie Wonder, Rickie Lee Jones, Lady Gaga, The Cranberries, The Sundays, Joss Stone, Jacob Collier,

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I like to arrive at least an hour before my performance begins to have the time to set up, get accustomed to the environment and get to know the organisers/hosts a little and settle in.
I am used to playing one or two sets of 45 Min, but can also do short sets, as well s just individual pieces or also longer sets or more shorter sets of 3 x 30 Min etc...I am flexible to what the client and venue requires

Are you happy to perform outside?

It depends on the temperature and setting, but I have performed outside often and it usually works well, as long as a certain comfort level temperature wise is granted. ( not too freezing cold or too hot for too long)
a power supply is necessary, as the outdoors can swallow up a lot of sound.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Absolutely can the client have a say in what i will perform, I have often been able to learn new songs, to please a bride or groom or mother etc for their special moment etc or a particular audience in a certain age group that are likely to know songs from a particular era and love to sing along...etc

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Here are a few actual comments:

Wundervoll! Gerne wieder!
