Last Cats on Earth 5-piece Munich band performing original hard rock, funk & alternative rock.

We are a 5-piece band and ideally require a performance area of approximately 6 × 4 metres or larger. A suitable PA system, microphones, microphone stands and a drum kit with full hardware are preferred. We bring our own instruments, amplifiers/modelers, cables and in-ear monitoring equipment. If the venue does not have the required sound or backline equipment, we can arrange and procure the necessary equipment depending on the event.

Please provide the venue address, load-in and parking information, available stage dimensions, sound system/PA specifications, soundcheck times and any relevant noise or sound-limit restrictions. We would also like to know whether the venue provides a sound engineer and what equipment is already available on site.

If the venue does not provide these, we can arrange and procure the necessary equipment for the performance.

We do not provide a dedicated DJ service, but we are happy to coordinate with the venue regarding background music before and between our sets.

One of our most memorable gigs so far was our 90-minute performance at Zamanand Festival 2026 in Munich on the Sparda-Bank stage. The biggest highlight was the audience: seeing people who had never heard us before singing along, dancing, reacting to our songs and staying fully engaged throughout the set was an incredible feeling. Turning a crowd of strangers into an active part of the show made it a particularly memorable experience for the whole band.

Live music festivals, outdoor events and energetic club shows where the audience is there to actively engage with the music. We particularly enjoy events where we can play a full 60–90 minute set and build a connection with the crowd through original songs, dynamic performances and audience interaction.

Last Cats on Earth started gigging in Munich as a five-piece band, gradually building our live set through local venues, festivals and independent events. We combine original material with our own takes on well-known songs, and our live experience has grown through performances in different settings, from intimate venues to larger outdoor stages. Most recently, we played a 90-minute set at Zamanand Festival in Munich, where the audience response to our original songs was a particular highlight. We are now expanding our live activity and looking for new venues, festivals and events where we can bring our energetic, interactive show.

We are heavily influenced by Red Hot Chili Peppers, Måneskin, Jimi Hendrix, Arctic Monkeys and Lenny Kravitz, alongside the Californian pop-rock sound of the early 2000s. Our favourite artist is Red Hot Chili Peppers, especially for the way they combine groove, rock energy and strong songwriting. As for the greatest song of all time, we’ll go with “Back in Black” by AC/DC — an instantly recognizable rock song with a timeless riff and incredible energy.

We normally arrive around 2 hours before the performance for load-in, setup and soundcheck. Our standard live set is up to 90 minutes, but we can adapt the duration and format to suit the event, including shorter sets or multiple sets where appropriate.

Yes, we are happy to perform outdoors. We require a safe, flat and stable performance area, suitable power supply and appropriate protection from rain and direct weather exposure for the band and equipment. Shade is preferred, particularly in hot weather.

Our set combines original songs with our own interpretations of selected well-known songs. Clients are welcome to discuss song preferences with us, and we can consider learning specific songs for an event depending on the request and preparation time. We generally prefer to keep the final set flexible so we can adapt to the audience during the performance.

Energetic, interactive and unpredictable. Our shows constantly shift between hard-hitting rock, grooves, melodic hooks and audience interaction, with the band actively engaging with the crowd rather than simply playing through a set list. A major highlight for us is seeing an audience that didn't know us at the start become fully involved by the end.
