Last Bus To Mars 5-piece covers band featuring 90s alternative rock with a few 80s & 70s classics

We would prefer a minimum performance space of 16 x 8 feet. We need 2 x 15 amp outlets (or at least 1 x 20 amp outlet) and 5-6 parking spaces.

We need to know the details for loading in and out. If we are providing the PA, we will need a minimum of 2 hours set-up time- particularly if loading in is difficult or conflicts with other activities in the venue space.

If you provide a sound person and PA system, we can provide our own monitor mix/set-up. We use a stage snake splitter for our needs and yours. We can provide our own PA and sound guy as well as some lighting if needed.

We typically play similar music from playlists on an mp3 device at a lower volume during breaks (when we provide the PA).

Under the name "The Old Barbarians", we played the Hawg Pen private party for years at the American Royal World Series of BBQ; winning "Party of the Year" honors the very first year we played. We've also played on the main stage at that competition.

All events are great, but we're happiest when people get up and dance!

The current crew has played in Kansas City area cover and original bands for decades.

We love us some edgy alternative rock.

If we're providing the PA, we will need at least 2 hours prior to the performance to set up. If sound is provided by the venue, we can tighten that up. Our sets typically run from 45 to 60 minutes, but we can adjust that to suit the event or venue.

We can perform outside but will need to consider the setting, shade/shelter due to weather, power requirements, etc.

We have polished up a number of songs and tend to stick to the set list for smooth transitions, but if we already know a song, we will try to accommodate any requests.

We've always had great responses from our audiences. When they dance, we're giving them what they want. Occasionally we'll have the older members of the audience say they wished the show had started earlier.. and then something about their bedtime. :)
