I've been drumming for almost 20 years and started DJing shortly after that to increase my skillset as a full time artist and musician.
This is a hard question!
Performing shows is one of my favourite things. Performance is a show a concert, people are watching which is why I give it my all for a full on high energy act that people will remember. Being on stage requires putting on a show and that's what I plan on delivering.
Depending on the event - Normally for a wedding I arrive 3 hours before ceremony to start setting up. I normally don't take breaks during the DJ set/reception which is up to 3hours.
Yes. Will need shade, flat surface and power nearby for each area of set up.
For weddings I have the clients fill out a music questionnaire and have the repertoire curated to their taste and the vibe the want to create at their wedding.
