I don’t require much to put on a great show. A small performance area (about 6x6 feet) works perfectly for my DJ/KJ setup.
I just need access to standard power (one or two regular outlets) and a clear spot to load in my gear. Everything else I bring with me.
I appreciate knowing the best place to unload equipment, any stairs or elevators involved, and where the performance area will be located.
If the venue uses a sound limiter or has volume restrictions, it’s helpful to know ahead of time so I can plan the audio setup properly.
