Peter (Piotr) Cieslikowski is a famous Polish-born saxophonist, composer, and bandleader who moved to Canada in 2012. Throughout his career, he has recorded 14 albums and toured with American jazz legends like Scott Hamilton and Dr. Lonnie Smith.Today, he is a major part of the Toronto jazz scene. He frequently plays with top Canadian musicians and made his local recording debut in 2015 with The Timeless Quartet.Peter's music is inspired by old-school saxophone masters like Stan Getz. However, he mixes that classic style with modern and unique sounds. He has a very recognizable musical voice and can play almost any style of jazz, from Swing and Bebop to Funk, Blues, and Soul.In 2008, Poland's Minister of Culture gave him the prestigious "Meritorious for Polish Culture" medal. His newest digital album, Chopin Pianoless, was released in 2025 and is available to stream online.
