Usually, we do our own public intimate concerts, but a lot of people have hired us over the years for their weddings, milestone birthdays, special ocassions and proposals.
We work with a lot of South Asian artists (that includes Indian, Pakistani, Nepali, Bangladeshi and Sri Lankan) that are familiar with the Bollywood music. Mehfil is the pioneer of live desi music in Seattle, and has been the origination for a lot of local artists to pursue their bands, live gigs, and private gigs.
We are happy to provide you singers and musicians for your next event.

We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to know if it is indoor/outdoor, where the stage would be, and the size and other details of the place for us to guage audio equipment requirements.
Yes, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
We have performed at KEXP, Seattle Opera and Chateau Ste. Michelle, but our favorite gigs are not venue dependent, but audience dependent. We have had the most love for our Nostalgia, Sufi and Coke Studio show.
We love playing at all sorts of events but weddings are our favourite! The guests are always happy and it’s easy to get them dancing.
We started Mehfil Nights to be able to find something that we would love to be the audience for.
Kishore Kumar and Asha Bhosle are our all time favorites. KK, Sunidhi Chauhan, Atif Aslam, Shreya Ghoshal and Lucky Ali also make us happy. :)
We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 45 minutes or 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 5 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
