We require a suitable and safe area for the DJ setup, access to a reliable power supply close to the performance area, and convenient access for loading and unloading our equipment. Any additional technical requirements will be discussed in advance depending on the venue and event setup.

We would like to know whether the venue has an existing sound and lighting system, any sound or music restrictions, the location of the DJ and dance floor, available power supply, access for loading and unloading equipment, and whether the event will take place indoors or outdoors.

Yes. We provide professional sound equipment and can also provide different lighting packages depending on the venue, number of guests and requirements of the event.

Yes. As a wedding DJ, I can provide continuous music throughout the entire event, including welcome, cocktail hour, dinner, special moments and the main party. Music can also be provided before, after or between live band performances if required.

I’ve had the opportunity to DJ at many beautiful weddings and events across Crete, including luxury hotels, private villas and some of the island’s most unique wedding venues. For me, the best events are not defined by the venue alone, but by the atmosphere, the couple and a dance floor full of guests enjoying every moment.

Weddings are definitely my favourite events, especially destination weddings. I love being part of such an important day and creating the musical journey from the guests’ arrival and dinner to the first dance and the main party. Every wedding has a different crowd and energy, and turning that into a packed dance floor is what I enjoy most.

I started DJing in 2003, driven by my passion for music and creating the right atmosphere for a crowd. Since 2012, I have specialised in weddings and private events, performing at numerous venues, hotels and private villas across Crete. Over the years, I have gained extensive experience with Greek and international couples, particularly destination weddings. Today, through Miliaras Events, my focus is on providing a complete and personalised music experience from the beginning of the celebration until the final song of the night.

My influences come from many different styles and eras rather than one particular artist. As a wedding DJ, I enjoy everything from timeless classics, disco, funk and rock to pop, R&B, house and modern dance music. I believe there is no single greatest song of all time — the greatest song is the one that creates the right moment, brings people together and fills the dance floor.

We normally arrive well before the event begins to allow enough time for a professional setup and sound check. Yes. We regularly provide DJ services for outdoor weddings and events across Crete. We require a safe, stable and level area for the DJ setup, access to a suitable power supply and adequate protection from direct sunlight, rain and other weather conditions for the equipment.

Absolutely. Every wedding is personalised around the couple’s musical taste. Before the event, we discuss favourite genres, must-play songs, special songs and any music they would prefer to avoid. During the party, I combine their preferences with my experience of reading the dance floor, adapting the music in real time to keep the energy and atmosphere at its best.
