About / Biography

Primarily a concert group, performing original music with a jazz base but we also love the classics and will embrace special projects. Ask us anything and we'll consider it if we can make it work. We have 120 years experience between us but maintain our youthful enthisiasm for playing good music.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

Our best gig was playing our original music to saxophone aficionados and St Georges baptist church in Travencore, Melbourne.
Individually our members have performed on the major stages around Australia and internationally.

What's your favourite type of event?

We love doing concerts most of all.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

This group is recently formed in the last four years but we all started gigging in jazz clubs, orchestras and big bands straight out of university.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

All of the great saxophonists

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

Set up can be super quick. We can be very flexible with performance times but usually 45 sets work best.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

To some extent. We try to make requests possible, but if they're not in our repertoire there would be an extra cost in purchasing or arranging the music.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Very professional and top level music making.
