We require 2 x 13 amp power sockets and 2 parking spaces
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.
I always come with my sound engineer (microphone, mixrack, in-ears) but bringing our own sound equipment like speakers is optional.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
The best gig I have ever done, was a big festival in The Netherlands in front of 40.000 people. It's amazing how big of an impact it is to feel the energy from the crowd.
I love playing at all sorts of events but open events with a stage are my favourite! It’s easy to get them dancing and singing.
I started gigging whilst at Conservatory when I was 17 and my performances developed from there. Since I started I've performed at hundreds of weddings, parties and events across the The Netherlands, Spain and beyond.
Dua Lipa: She breaths iconic pop and disco and I love her. In my sets I sing a lot of hers, but also Amy Winehouse has been a big influence, Adele, Shania Twain. I like a lot of different types of music.
I normally arrive 1 hour before the performance to soundcheck and see what kind of crowd it is. I mostly perform 30 minutes or 3x 20 minutes. I'm happy to play a bit longer or shorter but I’ve found that these set times suit the audience the best.
Yes, if it's not raining, I love to perform outside.
I can learn specific songs before the event but usually limit this to 1 song. Plus additional costs will be charged for that. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from my repertoire or let me choose the music for them. Mostly I do it myself, because I can read the crowd at that moment.
