Papilio Strings have trained at top conservatoires (Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and the Royal Northern College of Music), and are dedicated to making your wedding or event special! We have years of performing experience, and offer a wide range of Classical and Pop/Show tunes - we are also happy to take requests of music you would like that are not on our songlist (in advance of your event)! We require two chairs (without arm rests), a parking space at the venue, and cover from the elements (eg. a gazebo for outdoor events).
We will arrive at least 30 minutes to 1 hour before the performance to set up, and our performance times depend on the exact requirements of your event!
We are happy to perform outside as long as there is some kind of covering to protect us and our instruments from sun, rain etc. We also still require two chairs (without arms) to perform outside, and a flat(ish) surface!
Clients are welcome to choose which genre music we play, and can request specific songs in advance of the event for us to add to our set list! We are happy for clients to have as much or as little involvement in choosing songs as they would like!
