Yes. I provide a very good sound system and DJ lighting for various sized events. For larger venues or events, I can work with the venue’s existing PA or arrange additional sound and lighting if required.

No. My DJ sets are performed exclusively from vinyl, and I don't provide a Spotify or background-music service between sets.

Volks Club in Brighton. It has an incredible history and has hosted some of the biggest international names in electronic music, so being able to play there is a real privilege. It’s also a venue with a genuine connection to Brighton’s underground music scene.

I've been mixing on vinyl and using decks since I was a teenager, giving me over 30 years of experience with turntables and vinyl. I regularly play at prominent bars and venues around Brighton, including Volks Club, The King and Queen, The Mesmerist and the Bee's Mouth. I also perform from time to time in London. I specialise in classic and uplifting 90s, 00s and 10s house, played exclusively from vinyl.

I've been influenced by artists such as Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Masters At Work and Rhythm Masters. Roger Sanchez is probably my biggest influence, particularly his ability to combine great vocals, grooves and uplifting house music. If I had to pick one greatest song of all time, I'd go for The Shapeshifters – Lola's Theme.

Setup usually takes around 30 minutes. Performance times can vary depending on the event, but the average set last for around 4 hours, with longer performances available by arrangement.

Yes, provided the DJ equipment is under suitable cover and protected from rain, and adverse weather conditions. A stable, level surface and suitable power supply are also required.

Clients are welcome to discuss their musical preferences and make requests in advance. I’ll work with them to shape the music around their event, although requests are subject to what I have available on vinyl.

Previous clients commonly describe my performances as energetic, uplifting and authentic, with great music and a real old-school feel. They particularly enjoy the vinyl-only approach and the mix of recognisable favourites alongside less obvious tracks.

I mix everything live on Technics turntables, using no laptop, no sync buttons and no digital shortcuts. Every mix is done by ear, using my knowledge of the tracks and my own vinyl collection to know exactly when to bring in the next record, where the breakdowns and outros are, and how the tracks will work together. It’s a hands-on, instinctive way of DJing that comes from years of working with vinyl and knowing the music inside out. The result is a genuine, live DJ performance rather than simply selecting and pressing play on a playlist.
