Marco Piccirillo and Aleksandra Asya are a musical entertainment duo with unique talents and repertoire.
Aleksandra is a singer and guitarist, Marco a double bass player and guitarist. A duo that does the work of a trio, they are not only work colleagues but also husband and wife.

They describe their repertoire as elegant and classy, ideal for all tastes and ages, for Italian or international guests. Aleksandra can sing with perfect pronunciation in over 40 languages.

"We are admirers of the elegance of music from the past. Our repertoire includes over 200 songs composed between the 1950s and 1980s, including jazz, bossa nova, Italian songs, Latin music, international pop evergreens, traditional songs from around the world, and more. Over the years, we have both gained a wealth of professional experience in Italy and abroad. To name a few: Hotel de Paris Montecarlo, Hotel Palace St. Moritz (CH), Hotel Principi di Piemonte Turin, Splendido at Belmond Hotel Portofino, private events for fashion designers Brunello Cucinelli and Loro Piana, Hotel Resort Anantara on the World Islands archipelago in Dubai, and luxury restaurants serving exotic cuisine in the Emirates."

BIOGRAPHY

Aleksandra Asya (n. Radonjic) Piccirillo, composer/researcher/multilingual singer, born in the former Yugoslavia, performs music from all over the world in more than 40 languages, endeavouring to bring the atmosphere of travelling through space / time and to acquaint the audience with different cultures.

Apart from Aleksandra's world music programme (started in 2007), she is still devoted to many different musical genres and composing. During her musical journey, Aleksandra held many concerts independently and in collaboration with other artists; appeared at many art events, such as art festivals, theatre and ballet shows, cabaret performances, art exhibitions, literary events, etc.; participated in various art projects in Balkan countries and abroad and appeared in radio and TV broadcasts. She has been recording at studios and singing a variety of different styles at concert halls and clubs since the age of 15. She has held music workshops for children as extracurricular activities in elementary schools.

In addition to her musical education, she has acquired knowledge in the fields of journalism and graphic design.

Marco Piccirillo was born in Turin in 1976. He began studying music at the age of fifteen, then perfected his training at the Centro Jazz Torino, the CPM in Milan, seminars at the Accademia Siena Jazz , and furthering his study of classical music at the Scuola Civica in Turin.

In the jazz field, he has played with Scott Hamilton, Grant Stewart, Jim Rotondi, Jason Marsalis, Famoudou Don Moye, Denise King, Debora J. Carter, Joyce E. Yuille, Fabrizio Bosso, Emanuele Cisi, Max Ionata, Flavio Boltro, Nico Gori, Roberto Tarenzi, Giovanni Amato, Tony Match, and many others.

Leader of the band 4Strings Family, for which he writes the music, he has recorded three albums under his own name since 2017: “No time no space and between” (DDE records 2017), “Audionario pt.1” and “Audionario Pt.2”(BLUEMAMA RECORDS 2022, 2024). He has also appeared as a sideman on numerous recordings, including “Play mobil” Jazz Accident feat. Fabrizio Bosso (Abeat Records, 2012) and “River Dance,” Daniele Gorgone Trio feat. Flavio Boltro (DDE Records, 2021).
