The band has been playing Melbourne pubs, clubs and events since forming in 2010 and has entertained patrons at countless gigs over the years, across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.
Be it a pub, wedding, corporate function, riverboat cruise or private party we have you covered with a great night’s music.
Having played so many gigs, we know what songs work and when to play them.
The band comprises male and female vocals, guitar, keyboard, saxophone, bass and drums. We also provide our own PA and lighting systems, ensuring less organising hassles for you.

We provide all sound and light gear and only require access to power. Shade and shelter from wind and rain are required for outdoor gigs. Performance space of approx. 5m x 3m.
Just that the venue is accessible to load in gear and that stage space and power requirements have been met.
We provide all sound and lighting gear.
We can provide background music to be played between our sets.
Our most memorable gig was a pub gig for our 10th anniversary as a band. The pub was packed and the punters had a ball as did we.
Favourite events are those gigs where people love to sing and dance to their favourite classic rock music. This is often a pub, wedding or major milestone birthday event.
We have been playing in bands, groups and solos since we were all very young. We started gigging at local pubs for local people and through the band forming network known as Weekend Warriors.
Hard to pick favourite artists. Neil Diamond, Elvis, Elton John all get great reactions as well as performers like Beatles, Madonna, Roxette and Paul Kelly.
Set up usually takes 1 to 1 and a 1/2 hours once all gear is loaded in. Performance times are most often 3 sets of 14 songs across the standard event.
Platform 5 are happy to perform outdoors given adequate arrangements for prevailing weather conditions.
Occasionally clients suggest a very limited number of songs they would like included. We can sometimes accommodate these requests but generally we set our song list based on our experience and understanding of set lists that suit events and occasions.
Clients are invariably delighted with the service we provide. They rely on the band to be punctual, reliable, flexible and most importantly musically enjoyable for all in attendance.
