Velvet Moon is a Melbourne-based acoustic duo featuring vocalist Tegan and guitarist Wes, bringing together years of performance experience and a shared passion for live music.

Every booking includes professional sound equipment, with curated playlists between sets and the flexibility to tailor the music to your event.

We require a suitable performance space for two musicians and our equipment, access to a standard power outlet nearby, and a safe, level surface for setup. Convenient access for loading and unloading equipment is appreciated.
We ask for details about the performance location, whether the event is indoors or outdoors, access to power, and any relevant loading or parking arrangements. Please also let us know if there are any venue-specific sound restrictions or requirements.
We provide our own professional PA system and all necessary sound equipment for our performances.
We can provide curated playlists between our live sets to ensure the music continues throughout your event. We're happy to tailor the playlists to your preferences or work with your own selections.
We typically arrive 60–90 minutes before our performance to allow time for setup and soundcheck. Our sets are generally 45–60 minutes long, with short breaks in between. We're happy to tailor the number and duration of sets to suit your event and schedule.
Absolutely! We're happy to perform outdoors, provided there's a flat, stable surface, suitable shelter from the elements and access to a nearby power supply. We also ask that a suitable indoor alternative be available in case of unfavourable weather.
Absolutely! We encourage clients to explore our extensive repertoire and let us know their favourite songs or preferred musical styles. We're also happy to curate the setlists ourselves, tailoring the music to suit the atmosphere and flow of your event.
For weddings, we can learn special song requests outside our repertoire for key ceremony moments and first dances. Other requests can be discussed in advance.
