As a cherished subset of the nearly 60 year old 90-piece Charlotte Concert Band family, we're on a mission to reignite the passion for swing music among music lovers everywhere.

With a dynamic blend of professional expertise and amateur enthusiasm, we deliver captivating performances that honor the iconic Big Bands of the 20s, 30s, and 40s. No. We are part of th 60-year old, 85-piece CharlotteConcertBand. org. We have outstanding players on all parts. Many music teachers, band directors, retired military band members and players from all walks of life who have made music a priority throoughout their lives.
We have a library of over 2,000 Big Band charts. The music of Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman and dozens more marked The Greatest Generation. It was a salute to those who fought so valiantly or manned the home front during World War II. However, our library features music that will easily adapt to any event.

Pretty much any event you may be planning. Our core Queen City Swing band consists of 18 players including vocalist which is a traditional "Big Band." We can also offer a smaller 4-6 piece combo or even a Woodwind Quintet for more specialized events.
